Just a random Pinterest one tbh - might have just been generated by AI considering the state of things these days <_>
lol there was this story recently where a school received planners made for the students and it was done all through AI. The periodic table of elements was a travesty. U_U

I kinda hate the world we live in but just like in Naruto, we can't give up trying to make it better. It is in the journey that we find out just what we are capable of. <3

Lmao yea, AI hallucinates a lot - it has some good uses, but generally, its not great if not used right.
The world can indeed be better but hey, we can always be ninjas here.

It only hallucinates because it is using information we provided over the years. So to ask it to draw from itself it only makes amalgamations of what it already knows. Truly twisted stuff if you think about it all the horrendous stuff the worst of humanity has done.

And, here I am Leon the Brave U_U

Imma sip my soda, put on some Megan Thee Stallion, and wait for Mirai-sensei.❤️ :lok:

Ayy, I always reference that scene from Age of Ultron, only took him a minute to know that we gotta go.
They call us clankers, we call them squishies. 🤖

Also in tandem with that, I hate to ask this, but it's needed to some degree. Of those who are still active and want to play, what exactly are you guys looking for in the game at this point? As in, is there something that is of reasonable interest to you that you'd like seen implemented. We've asked this question time and time again, but with whomever is left- we want to make this as enjoyable as possible for you all, and we want to prioritize a fun, clean and dynamic experience for all still involved.

Please dont lurk and dont answer, we're doing this for you guys and will be taking all suggestions (within reason) seriously.
With the state of the game and its playerbase, is there a chance that training could be automated? Much similar to how the players get basics like elemental ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu and kenjutsu automatically that scales to their respective stat line, I would love to see training of new skills and abilities be automated, in a roleplay setting, that a character can learn and add to their biographies. Personally, I think giving the player the agency of either going through our traditional method in the Training Grounds, or writing your own narrative missions in the NW wherein your character learns whatever skill, would be a solid addition. Playing somewhat off of what Mox has mentioned, it would reduce the training burden on the staff of training the 2-3 people who want to achieve whatever skill they desire, as well as give players the means to continue to develop their biography in their own unique way.

For example, I want my current NW character to learn the Toad summoning contract. I understand I need to ask a sensei to train me in that skill to ensure I can use it properly or whatever. Instead, I would love to have the ability to write my character a small training arc wherein they learn their new skills in the NW. In this example, it would give me a chance to write a narrative that works for my character, write about their successes and failures, and also grade it as a mission to reward with effectively learning the skill or earn some kumi on the side.

But also, given the state of the game and the playerbase, these skills are largely universal or endgame skills (EMS, YY etc.) that people desire. I'm not sure if the higher end skills should be learnt/taught like this, but I do think there is enough materials for people to reference for their own automated training even for these abilities, so that people who want the skills can still write their own stories. Ability should still follow a path (for example, you can't get EMS without first getting MS) and such a mission would scale with difficulty of the skill's intended price point. In my example, Toad summoning might consist of two B-rank missions, but learning something like EMS might require three S-Rank missions.

Hey, appreciate the response first and foremost. Always happy to hear suggestions out, and this has been brought up before. The problem we've faced, is that we did do this at one point in time beforehand. I believe it was around 2022-2024 that the RP, even with more people, wanted to move away from the training portion for sensei and have most abilities (aside from a select few end game/high tier abilities) be automated training. The problem with this is that, people even with that capability- had found themselves in circumstances either misusing a technique, not understanding it or even outright submitting customs that had nothing to do with the field itself or stretching beyond its capabilities.

This forced the staff to reintroduce trainings, but only to 'special' fields such as Summons, Adv. Ninjutsu etc. The basic 9 fields (Basic 5 Elements, Tai, Genjutsu, Bukijutsu Ninjutsu etc) became automated and you gained access to em based on your rank or now in this case, how much AP you've invested into a particular stat. So it's kind of become common place for more specialized fields to be taught in order to avoid misuse of things in the game. However, I do believe certain things...could be allowed to have said automated training be a thing, and it would encourage some stories in the NW, but we will still have to place an emphasis on certain tiered abilities being trained by a sensei/mod. An example would be the very same Mangekyo Sharingan and other tier 4 and up abilities. I don't think it's too farfetched to allow things of lower tier to be done in this way, however I will discuss this @Detective L about it. I do genuinely like this suggestion doe and will try to see how we can implement it very soon alongside some other upcoming updates.

Hmm, so I am in a weird place cause I would say I am at the mid game point. (Could be wrong tho) I have stuff I wanted, but still want other stuff. So as far as progression goes for me, having a fun way to do it, is really important. We also have a player base where most players are at the end game point. Which will make a player (me) really want to get there so matches feel leveled to a degree. (I do enjoy battles). There are alot of reasons to push for higher ranks, like submitting, CFS, CE's, Abillities, etc.. But what we have to do to get there is important. Also another thing to think about, is that alot of us will end up fighting each other over and over since the playerbase is low. I don't really mind it, but just thought I should mention it.

I really like the idea of adding incentives and ability rewards to NW. For example, I was participating in the Snake Sage mode one, before Zaph went away.

Yes, we will indeed look at ways of making the NW self-sustainable while at the same time encouraging new players to explore the world and get some cool stuff while at it.
People probably saying the same seeing me post so its cool
Fair enough lol.
