Lucifer responded to Madara, stressing the last portion regarding what Madara wished. It was clear he didn't like Basel, though one could hardly blame him. Madara was unsure how he felt about the Voidlords or Imeroth as well, though he reluctantly handled the tasks they set out for him. Madara nodded towards Lucifer before speaking."Stopping that beast is a stepping stone on the path to peace? I'm happy to pursue the four tails, if that is what you wish." Lucifer placed a clear emphasis that he was doing this for Madara.
Perhaps an obvious show of his allegiance, while it was none too subtle it would serve the intended purpose. Lucifer had little trust for these people, his taunting of the oaf had confirmed their lack of care for their own agents, the fact they lamented that the child of Tiamat hadn't been able to use his weapon against Phetra also displayed that.
Solomon may be just as enigmatic as them, but he didn't have the same callous disregard, at least if he did, it wasn't so shockingly obvious.
"Excellent, I have reason to believe the 4 Tails to be in the Badlands somewhere. Where exactly, I can't say. Be cautious, however. The Beasts are very powerful, though you mentioned you faced one already so you're aware of this by now. As for Strix," Madara said, turning to the silent witch. "I sense a Core near the Noodle Panhandle currently still. Based on its previous movements, it was one of the cores that was around Lucifer in the Badlands prior. Reach out to them and persuade them to meet with me. Talk to them, kidnap them, bludgeon them if you have to - just make sure you can bring them to me. I feel we will need more hands on deck very soon."
