WSE | The Bingo Book
► Description:
Here you can submit bounties on players in the Ninja World. Bounties issued do not necessarily reflect rank, skill, or abilities. Rather the reward offered reflects the issuer's desire to see this individual captured, killed, intercepted, tortured, etc. Bounties can be placed on anyone, at any time, and for any reason. Bounties can be posted by both individuals and by their respective clans. In the case of the latter, the clan's funds are to be used and may require players pool their funds together to form an adequate reward. Typically the reward for completing bounties will earn a Ryo payoff, but in certain cases artifacts can also be used as a reward for completing the bounty. Bounties are removed from the Bingo Book when completed. They are also considered 'public' in the sense that bounty hunters have knowledge of them.
Bounties, by their very nature, are open contracts. If a bounty specifies, for example, that the head of the target be brought to a certain location the bounty hunter can be intercepted freely by other parties on their way to the rendezvous. ‘Theft’ of bounties in this fashion must be logically possible and it follow the same rules as normal theft, i.e. the victim must have been defeated in battle and only the victor can steal it. However, this is not a pass to metagame.
