And I'm not talking about Edo Tensei Uchiha Madara. No, I'm not talking about Gedou Rinne Tensei Uchiha Madara. Hell, I'm not talking about Juubi Jinchuuriki Gedou Rinne Tensei Uchiha Madara either. I'm talking about Kono Yo no Kyuseishu Futarime no Rikudo Juubi Jinchuuriki Gedou Rinne Tensei Uchiha Madara with the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan (which is capable of Enton Amaterasu, Izanagi, Izanami and the Tsyukuyomi Genjutsu), his two original Rinnegan (which grant him Chikushodo, Shurado, Tendo, Ningendo, Jigokudo, Gakido, Gedo, Bansho Ten'in, Chibaku Tensei, Shinra Tensei, Tengai Shinsei and Banbutsu Sozo) and a third Tomoe Rinnegan on his forehead, capable of using Katon, Futon, Raiton, Doton, Suiton, Mokuton, Ranton, Inton, Yoton and even Onmyoton Jutsu, equipped with his Gunbai(capable of using Uchihagaeshi) and a Shakujo because he is a master in kenjutsu and taijutsu, a perfect Susano'o (that can use Yasaka no Magatama ), control of both the Juubi and the Gedou Mazou, with Hashirama Senju's DNA and face implanted on his chest, his four Rinbo Hengoku Clones guarding him and nine Gudodama floating behind him AFTER he absorbed Senjutsu from the First Hokage, entered Rikudo Senjutsu Mode, cast Mugen Tsukuyomi on everybody and used Shin: Jukai Kotan so he can use their Chakra while they are under Genjutsu.

People held a grudge against Naruto when he tried to buy things and told their children to stay away. They ignored him and he heard whispers of people talking about how people had died because of him. Naruto didn't turn into a power-hungry psycho with a God Complex.

But then Madara and Naruto are two different characters. I just think it's interesting how the two had similarities and turned out completely different from each other. Both are very well written characters.

But I mean Madara was basically destined to be the darker half between him and Hashirama.
The fear they had wasn't really unjustified, he had a more dangerous aura than Hashirama and he had the power to back it.

what a epik contradiction....

Contradiction is Truth.
"Those are the facts of this world, and you will all surrender to them!"

u know when some1 choose to be in dark side with his free will...that means he is aware of consequences..that means he has all necessary knowledge and means that allows it....that also means Madara has B^ll$ and courage to do it....

So, when a girl chooses to walk into a room with a guy, she is fully knowledgeable of everything that is about to happen and is making that choice with full awareness?

The idea that anyone acts with full comprehension of their choice's consequence, or even their own biases leading up to that decision, is simply a self-delusion. No one has complete awareness of every consequence that will come from their actions. Every person is bound by the limits of, if nothing else, the Uncertainty Principle with regard to the consequences of their actions.

Choosing to take a 'dark path' is choosing to act in a manner one finds morally objectionable - 'the ends justify the means.' I am going to kill these people, because I have decided that their living is an unacceptable risk that I lack the capacity to manage. While such an action may take an amount of courage, that does not mean his actions are exempt from evaluation.

thats teh difference between Madara, nagato and bobito....nagato and bobito have zero b^ll$ to walk deep within dark side and thats teh reason why naruto uzumaki talknojusted them so easily but never dared talknojutsu Madara...

madara creats villains like nagato and bobito....but villains do not creat him...

Madara did nothing more than enable Obito and Nagato - the same as with Black Zetsu and Madara. Black Zetsu enabled Madara. Had it not been for BZ altering the tablet, Madara would have likely failed. Had it not been for Black Zetsu attaching himself to Madara, Obito would have never been possible. Etc. Etc. In the end, the only aspect of Madara that was developed on its own was his "before-darkness" character that was hardly explored in the series, and his fall into despair at his inability to deal with the challenges everyone faces in life. Madara chose to try and seize, by force, things he felt he was owed, all the while blaming the rest of the world.

Again, at least Nagato had the presence of mind to realize he was becoming the very type of villain he despised - he simply reasoned that there would always be such a villain threatening the world and that he would be able to impart a benevolence to the role that was usually lacking. Madara never seemed to grasp the idea that his plan was to, essentially, destroy all life and consciousness and never grappled with the consequences of his own actions. He believed everyone would be shown a dream world they would enjoy, and never stopped to question what it would mean to suspend everyone in a perpetual dream.

He wasn't TNJ'd because, by the time the withered husk of Madara was encountered on the battlefield, there was nothing left of his existence but the plan he put in motion. There was no Uchiha clan to restore to dignity. There was no significant other to return to. There were no friends. There was only hatred and disdain for the very concept of life and independent will.

thats why black zetsu never dared tempte madara becuz he know madara isn't like indra easy to tempt and manipulate...

See above. Madara never needed to be tempted into being a tool for Black Zetsu.

How easier could it get? Madara was willing to kill one of his only friends over the seat of the Hokage after just a few years, and before his term was supposed to come into effect. This put an end to Hashirama, and opened the door to Tobirama, who was far less trusting of the Uchiha and far more paranoid. The Uchiha, having lost their leader, also became paranoid and resentful.

WELL calculated move, Madara! Because he never considered the idea he would lose his attempt at a coupe, he set in motion the cascade of events that would lead to the Uchiha Clan Massacre.

OH... but you "won" because you were "looking toward the future." Because this is a WELL written character, devoid of any kind of ass-pulls, Madara used bullshit-no-jutsu to come back from the dead, then go into super secret hiding while his clan fell into ruin. Because that was his plan all along!?

Madara basically ensured the very issues he used to justify his actions were THE RESULT of his PRIOR actions. It's a good thing we are dealing with quantum mechanics, because causality just got violated like the EU by Muslims. Madara uses the oppression of the Senju to justify his tirade, yet his PLANNED 'death' and murder of his friend MADE IT SO THOSE EVENTS WOULD TRANSPIRE.

think about it do u really think Madara was dumb to not know that teh uchiha stone was fake???...

I would expect most people to have at least some reservations as to the validity of prophetic stones promising world peace by mind-raping them, yes.
I would, also, however, expect someone to stop and think about the consequences of a coupe attempt. So... the character in the Naruto manga fails to meet my expectations for what sentient and intelligent creatures do.

Sure, we can buy the idea that he was being driven purely on emotion and got a bit tunnel-visioned... but when it is later revealed that he actually planned to 'appear to die' - or it is played off that way... then his actions come out to be rather foolishly planned and haphazard.

-now just becuz some1 opposed senjus and hashirama(will of fire) does that necessary means he is in evil dark side???..

It's a straw man.

of course not :

Knocked down and set on fire.

hashirama viewed peace only from his senju or will of fire perspective...but Madara had both senju and uchiha powers so he viewed peace from both perspectives..

Nonsense. Madara only ever saw his own 'vision of peace' - which was a glorified form of planetary extinction. But it's all cool because they died in orgasmic bliss, or something. It wasn't even a true 'world peace.' Each individual was given their own personal dream world where they were completely insulated and isolated from the others around them. That is how he envisioned and described it. It wasn't even a dream world where everyone could be peaceful together.

He struck out alone. He trusted no one, tried to manipulate everyone, and even the 'world peace' he tried to foster was simply killing everyone while showing them their own private dream. His path was one of loneliness in the extreme, and he never changed after receiving 'senju powers' (by biting Hashirama... really?)

-Madara is teh only one who knows how to walk in dark path...becuz for him that dark path leads to a white destination(dreamworld of peace).....

His solution blatantly involves killing everyone alive if you stop to think about it for ... you know... a minute. Dude sits in a cave, sippin sap from the world tree for a hundred years, (or... twenty... time is indeed relative in the Naruto Universe), and never once stops to go "wait a damned minute..."
I mean, he DID come back from the dead after getting blown up - so it's possible his actions after VOTE were effectively Madara post-lobotomy... but some kind of light should have kicked on, there. If it was his plan before fighting Hashirama in the first place, then it becomes even more absurd as he resolves to killing everyone to show them a dream long before many of his stated reasons for doing so, and long before many of the wars between the hidden villages played out (most of which were after the VOTE, if my understanding of Naruto Timeline is correct).

All of a sudden, Madara just decides to start killing everyone because he has some kind of crisis of faith and believes all humanity will ever do is horrible things to each other. Just... poof.... like someone put that idea into his head as a genjutsu, or something. Or maybe he, as one of the few Mangekyo wielders (before Izanagi was being spammed to require the development of Izanami? ... because Senju-Uchiha hybrids were running all over the place with spare sharingans to burn up... great writing!), read something on a fake tablet, took it as truth, and then made like a good tool - threw the village system into chaos, massacred the only other clan that could read the tablet (or pose a fundamental problem to the Eye of the Moon plan, aside from the Uzumaki), and almost succeeded in exterminating humanity.

Because that was his plan all along. Fully aware of what the consequences would be.

Aim64C likes to listen to the sound of his own voice, he's never had a coherent argument and often goes on a tangent contradicting himself. Then will go onto bash you in a condescending manner once exposed.

There are those who seek to entrench within a person a certain set of biases so as to guide their actions toward a predetermined conclusion. They then seek to hide the truth from their eyes, so as to prevent them from realizing conscious action.

There are those in this world who are parasites, incapable of independent action and who need to try and steer the thoughts/emotions of others in order to survive or 'succeed.' Rather than walking in the shadows, they cling onto those who stray too close, all the while trying to convince someone that the shadows are what they really wanted all along - that the shadows are all they can ever be, now.

There is a distinction to be made between those who choose to walk in the shadows, and those who have sunk to worship of the shadows. As much as I may rag on Madara for being a fool, you are nothing more than a parasite. A 'me too' slime that tries to cling to others, devoid of any value or substance.

You must really love the sound of your own voice since you wrote three paragraphs of manure to make a point. The points weren't even connected and then you ended with a "me too" comment "devoid of any value or substance" as you put it. True to form you didn't disappoint, meaningless incoherent nonsense on a tangent followed by attempted bash.

Ignore him, he's stuck so far up his own rear end that he doesn't even know Madara and Hashirama never fought over the title of Kage.

This put an end to Hashirama, and opened the door to Tobirama, who was far less trusting of the Uchiha and far more paranoid. Madara was intelligent enough to foresee the future and set out to change it rather than wait til it actually happens to combat it. Sure, his actions further ensured the Uchiha's downfall, but that doesn't change the fact that it was already inevitable. He just sped it up. Furthermore, the next thing you said was blatantly wrong.

WELL calculated move, Madara! Because he never considered the idea he would lose his attempt at a coupe, he set in motion the cascade of events that would lead to the Uchiha Clan Massacre.

He did forsee himself losing, which is why he had Izanagi prepped and had the intention of gaining Hashirama's cells in the battle. Furthermore, what do you think Madara wanted to do with the Kyuubi in Konoha? Give them a new pet? He wanted to annihilate the entire village, including the Uchiha who had turned their backs against him. So his actions further leading to their downfall isn't a negative point against him given he wanted them wiped out himself.

Izanagi was already well established in the series before it was revealed that Madara used it.

There are some things that will be done on principle, once I have destroyed the gate. She knows what I mean. Do not tease the animals at the zoo. We remember.

"The thing I set in motion was inevitable. I was intelligent enough to see it. Therefor, I only made the smartest decision."

The problem is that his entire justification for throwing the coupe was the events which came as a result of his loss. You can't have it both ways.

Izanagi was already well established in the series before it was revealed that Madara used it.

Izanagi and Izanami, while appropriately Shinto themed, were complete nonsense in their inclusion in the timeline. In order to use Izanagi, one must first have a Sharingan and must second have Senju cells. Danzo had a complicated surgical procedure to implant Senju tissue in him to make it work, and only just. Madara just gets to bite someone and then he permanently has Senju powers. Because that's how cells and organs work.

To call it bullshit is an understatement. There again, he's able to just walk up and pop an eye out of Obito like it's a USB camera... before plugging it in his own socket, later - so "Madara is just so badass" gets used as a reason to ignore the asspull of not-requiring-any-healing. It's not even that he has super healing. He flat-out doesn't require it. Because the plot needed Madara to be alive and to have both his eyes to advance - and there wasn't any other way to fit the events in while preserving any kind of halfway sensible rules in the universe.

I'll stop here. I need to reread to solidify my thoughts on Madara. Although your comments are interesting and well written. I'm interested in seeing your analysis of Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Obito, Nagato, Tobirama, Hashirama, Hurizen, Tsunade, Orochimaru and Neji.

Probably better to simply read my fanfic if you want my take on many of the character's personalities and how they think, as well as an evaluation of their behavior prior to the ninja war arc. The fact that I completely remove Obito from the role of Tobi (that goes to another character) should say what I think about all of that.

An author uses characters to frame a subject and story. Characters rarely have much in the way of free will - or, at least, their own actions are always framed by the will of the author. A character is going to yield to temptation where the author wishes to create drama, or is going to cling rigidly to an ideology where tragedy is the goal.

As such, trying to analyze the characters independent of the author and the author's point is a bit of a faux pas (or Fox-paw, har har). The quality of writing is, usually, the ability of the writer to make the points he/she wants to make without breaking immersion or suspense of disbelief. The more natural characters appear in their environment and the fewer rules within the series need to be broken in order to make that point, the better the writing.

Madara is a tragic character, of sorts. Tragedy is not a story of characters, so much as it is a story of ideals. The characters become an ideal and act rigidly in accordance with it. Perhaps the best tragedy written and produced, so far, is Fate/Zero. Characters like Kiritsugu Emiya are not allowed to embrace other ideologies. They act in accordance with an ideology in its contextual extreme at all times, so that the audience can view how ideals clash and conflict. Each of us can empathize with Kiritsugu Emiya at points in the story - we would be willing to stain our hands with blood, perhaps sometimes of the not-evil people, in order to put in place a better future. We can all probably empathize with Saber/Arturia - an extremely lawful and honor-bound character. Etc - etc. When two characters we strongly empathize with clash, it becomes a key point of analysis for the audience.

Madara is, in that regard, a tragic character. Madara isn't allowed to stop and realize that the world has changed, that progress has been made, etc. He isn't allowed to take anyone into confidence around him. He is completely dedicated to a singular path of isolation where he thinks he understands the best course of action and will impose it on the world, at any and all costs.

Because of this, and because of the way Kishimoto was writing, Madara ended up having to break a great number of rules in the series and become an indestructible powerhouse - a 'real character' bound by the rules of the naruto universe, would likely have failed long before the Madara we saw ever got to the Ninja War Arc. Madara wasn't the only character. Sasuke, as well, inexplicably had to be able to throw chakra around on par with a tailed beast. Hashirama could also be argued to fall into this category. Although a lot of this is that it's more simple to plan and depict a fight between two people rather than clashes of many people with varied skill sets.

I can't see a video so I don't k ow what your rambling about, I've no doubt it's more manure and deflection.

It's quite pointed, I assure you. You should try asking someone else to explain what it's about to you.

There are two, two specific comments which you've never realized the significance of. If you had realized your error and made some effort to make amends - then I would merely find you an annoying bit of history. However, you persist. Therefor, there are some things which must be done simply on principle. Had it been any other tree you pissed on, then a lasting consequence would probably not follow you (from me). However, because it was that tree you decided to mark, that consequence must be followed through.
