Her dragon and the gigantic vampire squid kept her company as Zora marched up on a grassy field only to upset a bystander enough for them to challenge her into a duel. Oh my, she thought. Unknownst to her, the woman had white horns on her head. Intrigued to find out about her abilities, Zora would drop her leg weights that she had kept on while her two beasts tested the woman's apetite for combat. As the battle had begun, Kano had started shedding water, Mamorus mental link was active and his capability to taste chakra was under no circumstance underwhelming.

The dragon and the squid launched a combined jutsu using Mamorous signature paste and Kanos massive water technique, creating a wave of blended rocks and water with devastating consequences to the surroundings. Not to mention the horny woman U___U. Soon as the sticky water wave had collapsed, Mamorou disappeared from sight and dug himself underground while Kano remained on Zoras right side.

If there's anything left, i'd like to move next time >_>.

Description: Mamoru is a decently large thorny dragon with the same size as a standard human while his left eye is piercingly blue his right eye is black as the night sky. He can be summoned through traditional means and is dark colored with some beautiful blue patterns around his thorns giving him a very majestic and fine look. He's very intelligent and shares a mental link with his summoner at all times. The spikes are sharp and his scales are very tough, able to withstand physical damage up to A rank and due to the sharpness of the spikes they will deal damage to taijutsu moves, cutting and stabbing skin on contact with enough force. Like all Thorny dragons, Mamoru is able to sense chakra through his tounge and his nose via taste and smell, this goes for long range. The combination of his thorns and hard scales makes him completely resistant to parastic infiltration of his body and cannot be taken control over by the likes of creatures that rely on that. His main affinity is Water and makes him able to use all water techniques his summoner knows as well as the thorny dragons default specialty of earth like techniques also giving him the ability to use all doton techniques the user knows. Like most thorny dragons, Mamoru is also able to hide his heat signature when digging underneath the earth. Like other dragons of the contract he can blend in with nature and combine the effects of hiding under rock as well as disappear from sight using active camouflage. Naturally he can still be sensed by the use of chakra sensory or movement sensory. While he doesn't profound in genjutsu or mind altering techniques, he is still an adept in its knowledge and is able to withstand genjutsu and mind altering techniques up to B rank as well as help his summoner if they would be stuck in a genjutsu through either chakra insertion or pain. He has one signature move which is the ability to combine doton and suiton to create a sticky paste of gripping mud that he can shoot from his thorns. This move is of A rank and serves as a catalyst of water techniques adding weight to them and those deal more damage(+1 rank or +20 damage) or just to act as a supplementary binding technique.

Gwendolyn was intrigued as the woman appeared with two completely opposite creatures next to her. Even more intriguing were the animals' ability to speak to the companion. Gwendolyn had never encountered such creatures before, but she would start the battle on the defensive as her eyes turned from brown to white as her Byakugan was passively activated.

Description: One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Byakugan is the dōjutsu kekkei genkai of the Hyūga and Ōtsutsuki clans, inherited from Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Bearers of this Dõjutsu have almost featureless white eyes. When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge as the blood flow to their eyes is increased. While having the Byakugan deactivated, shinobi with have a normal eyesight and no special addition to their vision. While low rank Hyugas will need to perform a sequence of hand seals ( Horse → Tiger with lifting just index fingers → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Snake with the right index finger lifted straight up) to activate their Byakugan, Hyuga masters and Otsutsuki clan members will be able to do so without the need for any hand seals and even have it active passively for long periods of time. Once activated, the user gains access to all of the abilities the Byakugan bestows upon them. While, like other Dojutsu, its main ability is to see chakra and the chakra flow in sentient beings, the Byakugan adds a complete new detail and dimension to that ability. Not only can they see chakra flow, but also the circulatory system and even the 361 tenketsu (even of their own). Added to this ability, once activated the Byakugan grants the user a near perfect field of vision 360º around himself (up to long-range if they're a master). This field of vision has only one blind spot; slightly above the 3rd thoracic vertebrae and facing backwards. The last ability the Byakugan has is the ability to zoom in and out, focusing on specific things, piercing beyond matter and energy alike. This specific ability allows the user to see pass most barriers as well as physical matter (like rock walls, ground, etc) but also energy, being able to focus beyond chakra that might be in front of them or other energies. The zooming ability is enhanced as the user becomes more adept at using his eyes and can even reach distances above 20kms away.
Note: For Hyugas, activation spends a move from the users own move count but once the user reaches Sannin Rank and has gained mastery over Gentle Fist for 1 month, he can activate it passively without spending a move. Because of its low chakra cost to maintain, the user can keep it active throughout the whole fight as long as he has chakra and stamina to do so.
Note: Genjutsu that requires Eye Contact when used against a Byakugan user requires direct eye contact between enemy pupil and user's pupil
Note: Hyugas must be activated to use Gentle Fist (Jyuken)
Note: Its tracking abilities are equal to that of 3 Tomoe Sharingan.

With her Byakugan, Gwen could see that the two creatures were gathering chakra and in a simulatneous move they unleashed a blast of heavy water chakra towards Gwen. The oncoming water technique prompted Gwen to slam her palms to the ground, causing a large amount of her Hell Fire chakra to fill the battlefield and raise the overall temparature of the battle field. This meant the water technique that was aimed at her was instantly evaporated as the temprature rose several degrees.

Jigokuton Nekkami: HellFire Release: Heat Wave

Description: User puts thier hands on ground and starts to charge hellfire chakra and spreads it around the battle field thus increasing the heat of the area and making all water, hyouton ( water based ) attacks useless, coz water wont be able to materialize, it would turn into steam.

3. User wont be able to use water based attacks himself

However, as the water was evaporated, a tornado formed around Gwen which rapidly spread outwards scarring the landscape and would serve incinerate all those who opposed Gwendolyn. Gwen who remained hidden within the torando during this time was completing 3 handseals, as the trio would undoubtedly be reacting to the oncoming flames. The seals combined with the spreading of Gwen's chakra caused a genjutsu to overtake all three of Gwen's current opponents causing them to see the world incredibly slowly almost as there preception of time slowed to a crawl as the fire bared down upon all three.

Description: The user does a three handseals and spreads his chakra through the air. Anybody in the area will then be affected by a genjutsu that causes them to see things either sped up or slowed down to a extreme. This drastically hampers the user ability to react and target the user or jutsu techniques aimed at them, as techniques will seemed to be launched at them in blinding speed or slowed to a halt so while the user sends techniques at the opponent they are launched slowly, when in actuality the user may have finished his technique and gone onto the next one thus harming the opponent.

At this point, Mamoru had sneaked underground while Kano and Zora remained where they had been at the beginning. Zora noticed on Kano's shedding that his water also turned into steam quite rapidly.

Few moments after she would perform two extra handseals to increase its damage when she noticed the void around her opponent that expanded in all directions. The lightning would pierce through the fire and continue through the tornado of flames almost seemingly unhindered. As the enhanced lightning attack struck her opponent, Mamoru had at that point dug himself underneath the woman, about 5 meters. As the lightning would hit, he would channel a small torrent of doton chakra through the ground underneath the opponent that would cause a tremor, making her lose her footing and thus her focus.

Gwendolyn was calm as she surveyed the battlefield with her Byakugan, her all seeing eyes able to keep tabs of everything on going. At this time, Zora was focusing her lightning chakra into her hand while simultaneously Mamoru began to borrow underground. However, Gwendolyn knew she didn't have time to adequately deal with the lizard as the now oncoming Lightning would surely blast through her tornado of flames and her if she stood idly by. Gwen having no other course of action ascended into the sky rapidly to avoid the Chidori Thunderstorm as it ripped the ground up on the way towards her. As Gwen flew upwards, a smoke bomb fell to the ground these actions all remained hidden due to the flames.

( Furaito no Jutsu ) - Flight Technique

Description: Through the use of their chakra, the user gains the ability of unsupported flight and levitation. The user moves and maneuvers at his running speed. This can be used upon activation as a means of dodging attacks but after this, cannot be utilized like such unless specifically noted.
Note: This can be used by Otsutsuki clan bios and canon Otsutsuki noted to have flight, Juubi Jinchuriki bios.

Gwen would fly straight up into the air using the pillar of flames as a cover for her initial movement. While she ascended rapidly in order to avoid the blast of oncoming Lightning a green orb of chakra was manifested within her hand. While Zora was focused on supplementing her jutsu, Mamoru having begun burrowing underground, it left Kano defenseless. The Vampire Squid unable to use its natural water affinity probably wasn't too keen about the increase in temperature as the creature gazed forward unaware Gwen had fled upwards. As the Lightning blasted through the Hellfire revealing Gwen to be gone, the previously dropped smoke bomb detonated covering the area in a thick blanket of smoke that obscured the vision of Zora and Kano who were above ground. Gwen in the confusion launched the green orb directly at Kano which would silently mesh with his body and give Gwendolyn temporary, yet complete control over him.

( Ningyō Noroitama ) - Puppet Cursing Technique
Type: Offensive/Supplementary/Defensive

Description: The user molds his chakra into the form of a green-coloured sphere. This sphere is held and can be seen as similar to the Rasengan in appearance. By sending it at an opponent, the user can use these spheres to temporarily take control of an opponent's body, effectively turning them into a puppet, with limitations of course. It also has tactical purposes, allowing the user to read the minds of those it enters, mentally linking to the user. These spheres can also have damaging effects, causing damage if used as an offensive sphere of chakra, similar to Rasengan. The user cannot use it for both puppet mimicry and to damage the opponent in the same turn. The user can alternatively use the offensive variant through his actual puppets, not the ones used from this jutsu.
Note: Cannot be used to force the opponents to kill or injure themselves.
Note: Only two puppets can be controlled at a time via this method and up to Kage ranked. Hold over the puppets last for only a single turn.
Note: Can only be used by Otsutsuki Clan bios.


With the creature now under her control, Gwen immediately forced Kano to lash out with one of its tentacles grabbing the woman by the legs and hoisting her up crushing her legs in the process (S-rank crushing damage). His other tentacles would also move to grab hold of her arms and torso as well adding to the crushing damage before he was made by Gwen to disappear back to his home.

As Zora released her initialising chidori, Mamoru could taste the absence of chakra that was right above him and so through his mental link with Zora he communicated with her about the immediate maneuvers of the kunoichi they faced together. Zora became seriously irritated at this point and the only way that Mamoru couldn't taste the chakra signature of their opponent would be if they had distanced themselves from the ground itself. Which also at this point would be the most likely manouver to avoid her Chidori since Zora didn't see any kind of counter jutsu from the woman. At this point the tornado that she would've formed was gone and Zora could quite easily see her opponents trajectory through the air.

As she said that, she would release her chakra into the nerve systems of her opponent. Mainly the brain. This technique didn't, unlike all other Yamanaka techniques, make her control her opponent. It did however restrain her chakra usage now up to B rank since Zora's earrings would fuel the technique additionally one rank. Zora herself would be limited in her usage of ninjutsu too but that didn't worry her the slightest when she noticed her opponents pain and misery as the mind break technique was starting to take effect. This lead the woman to take on one of the highest value of mental damage in existence.

(Shintendou no Jutsu) – Mind Body Confusion Technique

Description: This technique causes damage to all foes on the battlefield as well as confuses the main target. This is unique technique within the Yamanaka as it deals with causing mental damage as opposed to actually controlling another's body or will. This technique can be directed at multiple targets though the power would be divided among them. The damage translates into a blaring migraine that causes opponent's minds senses to become fuzzy affecting their ability to react to movements (negating chakra based sensory and heightened base 5 senses) and perform techniques (Above S-rank or A-rank depending on the rank of the technique). When performing this technique, however, Yamanaka are limited to performing only A-rank techniques and below. As well, the more targets under this technique's effects, the stronger, the shorter the duration of the technique. Against one person the technique lasts 3 turns. For every target double the number, the turn duration decreases by 1 meaning this technique can be cast on a maximum of 4 people at any given time.
Note: This technique can only be performed 4 times per battle with a cool down of 3 turns in between each use. S-rank usage of this technique can only be performed twice

As the kunoichi started to lose control over her senses and thus falling, Mamoru and Kano would both combine their efforts to smash the woman into a pulp, using Kanos tentacles and Mamoru, who would remain underground, would channel earth chakra into the ground where he could sense the woman who was about to crash-land on the ground. The spikes wouldn't do any damage to Kano even though he would bash straight into them due to his resistance to damage.

(Doton: Dosekidake no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Earth and Stone Bamboo Shoot Technique

As Zora released her initialising chidori, Mamoru could taste the absence of chakra that was right above him and so through his mental link with Zora he communicated with her about the immediate maneuvers of the kunoichi they faced together. Zora became seriously irritated at this point and the only way that Mamoru couldn't taste the chakra signature of their opponent would be if they had distanced themselves from the ground itself. Which also at this point would be the most likely manouver to avoid her Chidori since Zora didn't see any kind of counter jutsu from the woman. At this point the tornado that she would've formed was gone and Zora could quite easily see her opponents trajectory through the air.

As she said that, she would release her chakra into the nerve systems of her opponent. Mainly the brain. This technique didn't, unlike all other Yamanaka techniques, make her control her opponent. It did however restrain her chakra usage now up to B rank since Zora's earrings would fuel the technique additionally one rank. Zora herself would be limited in her usage of ninjutsu too but that didn't worry her the slightest when she noticed her opponents pain and misery as the mind break technique was starting to take effect. This lead the woman to take on one of the highest value of mental damage in existence.

Description: This technique causes damage to all foes on the battlefield as well as confuses the main target. This is unique technique within the Yamanaka as it deals with causing mental damage as opposed to actually controlling another's body or will. This technique can be directed at multiple targets though the power would be divided among them. The damage translates into a blaring migraine that causes opponent's minds senses to become fuzzy affecting their ability to react to movements (negating chakra based sensory and heightened base 5 senses) and perform techniques (Above S-rank or A-rank depending on the rank of the technique). When performing this technique, however, Yamanaka are limited to performing only A-rank techniques and below. As well, the more targets under this technique's effects, the stronger, the shorter the duration of the technique. Against one person the technique lasts 3 turns. For every target double the number, the turn duration decreases by 1 meaning this technique can be cast on a maximum of 4 people at any given time.
Note: This technique can only be performed 4 times per battle with a cool down of 3 turns in between each use. S-rank usage of this technique can only be performed twice

As the kunoichi started to lose control over her senses and thus falling, Mamoru and Kano would both combine their efforts to smash the woman into a pulp, using Kanos tentacles and Mamoru, who would remain underground, would channel earth chakra into the ground where he could sense the woman who was about to crash-land on the ground. The spikes wouldn't do any damage to Kano even though he would bash straight into them due to his resistance to damage.

Gwen was able to see that Zora had become aware of her movements as she began to peer up at the top of the pillar as she placed her hands in the unique seal that would initiate her Hiden technique. However, with the Byakugan able to see the opponent's chakra flow, she prepared for the opponent's antics. Gwen wasn't sure how she was being tracked, but she wouldn't forget that fact now that it had revealed itself. To avoid the oncoming technique, Gwen dissolved herself into black flames that changed into numerous crows that began flying in all directions making it impossible for Zora and her companions to tell who was the real Gwen. Gwendolyn used the confusion to reappear long range in the sky directly above Zora and she proceed to unleash a torrent of black flames directly downwards upon her. This meant if Mamoru wanted to continue using his Earth technique, it would not reach Gwen at her current height.

Gwen could see as the two above ground would simultaneously began concentrating their chakras. Gwen from above watched as the water source began to form into a large typhoon barreling towards her. In response, Gwen casually stuck out her hand creating a black orb to which she would point straight towards the Typhoon technique. The orb attracted the foreign chakra to it, rendering the technique harmless as the orb grew in size before dissipating.

Description: A cyborg attachment to the user's body, the user has a robotic limb that allows for him to create spheres of energy that are capable of absorbing chakra up to S rank level. These spheres are capable of dealing brute force on impact as well, growing to large heights, up to 4 meters in radius. Starting at roughly rasengan size, these spheres grow proportionally to the size of the technique absorbed. Normal Ninja are able to make use of one of these devices via specialized gloves that allow them to absorb 1 Ninjutsu per turn up to S rank while Cyborgs have these attachments and are able to absorb up to Forbidden powered attacks and 1 from each arm per turn.

As Gwendolyn floated in the sky high above the trio, her Lightning chakra began to radiate in her hands loudly, to which Gwen would then clap unleashing a large thunderbolt aimed directly for Zora, however, the attack was large enough that Mamoru who was near her would also take significant damage should he stay in range. The Lightning however was not like the standard Lightning Release and had much more penetrative force than even the Wind release.

Zora watched as her ice typhoon was sucked in the grasps of her opponent using their ninja tool. It was time for her to empower Kano a bit. Zora would create a spirit avatar after having performed three handseals. The spirit avatar would shape around Kano, giving him the abilities to use typhoon techniques as well as their minds integrated with each-other. Zora then noticed the opponent from far away releasing a massive torrent of lightning towards her and Kano. Using the spirit avatar in conjunction with her own typhoon capabilities, both of them release a devastating wave of black winds that combined would absolutely destroy everything in its path. Mamoru was getting anxious but had to wait for his turn. Kano's technique would form into a gigantic propeller of black winds and Zora's most powerful typhoon technique yet would nullify the raiton technique with ease and continue forward.

Albeit being very similar to the black wind clones, the avatar spirit has a very unique feature except its size variation and strength and that is that it can inhabit the user by merging with their body or that of a summoning they control. This will coat the affected body with the chakra the avatar spirit is made by and while at the same time giving the affected body the same resistance as the spirit avatar, also being controlled by the user of the technique. In combat, the avatar spirit may perform all wind/typhoon techniques based on wind and even custom fighting styles based on wind that the user knows up to A-rank. The spirit avatar may also coat material matter as well, such as swords and other objects will which give the said object the strengths of the spirit avatar (S-ranked typhoon chakra).

Unless the user is a practitioner of Yin/Yang they lose the ability to use any other elemental techniques while doing so however. Zora was looking upwards as she had just created a spirit entity around her Squid summoning after having noticed Gwen absorb the last Typhoon technique easily. Gwen's Byakugan could see the two once again gathering chakra for a powerful combination attack, but Gwen wouldn't let Zora have her way. Zora who was looking upwards after witnessing her last Typhoon technique absorbed ended up meeting Gwen's gaze and the Yamanaka would soon begin to feel as if she was vibrating intensely. This sensation was so powerful it prevented her from being able to continue focusing the large amount of chakra necessary to create her tornado, causing the technique to fail. With Gwen's Thunderbolt still oncoming, this meant that Kano's A-rank Typhoon technique would be unaided against Gwen's oncoming Lightning. As the two techniques clash, the sheer penetrative force Gwen had provided the Lightning allowed it to pierce effortlessly through the blackened winds and continue stabbing into Zora's chest and causing a massive explosion as the technique connected. (110 dmg)

Gwen didn't stop there as she would continue her offensive, releasing another thunderbolt from above directing it at Zora once again before she proceeded to flying downwards towards her opponents. Her Byakugan observing the battlefield for any signs of counter attack.

As Zora looked at her opponent, she was ready to fire her jutsu along with Kano. She then began to feel the world around her to vibrate drastically as soon as her eyes met the byakugan. She feared it was a genjutsu dojutsu and she would perform a single handseal to spike her chakra flow to get out of it. As she did, she knew not to look into her opponents eyes anymore for the rest of the match. She noticed how the lightning was then released and she continued with her plan. As Kanos wind would fade but decrease the destruction of the lightning, Zora released her typhoon technique which continued on its trajectory towards the lightning and pushed it back. As that happened, Kano would also bash his massive tentacles, now with the strength of two S ranked techniques smashed right into the woman from all directions at the same time. Not at all affected by the raiton chakra. He would take damage from Zoras attack though but nothing he couldnt handle.

Description: Kano is a male vampire squid with a completely black skin. He's the most gifted ninjutsu user of the vampire squids and is a water style primary specialist. He can perform all canon suiton techniques. His water techniques will require a water source but after the first turn summoned, he will have passively generated a water source up to short-range for use. He cannot use the mucus, his tentacles are still able to generate quite the punch and gain gripping abilities on hard and even slippery surfaces. Kano means the god of water in japanese and is rightfully so fitting this vampire squid due to his mastery of the release. Although he's not as big as Nahla, he is still quite the beef and is about 70 meters tall including his tentacles. Kano is also a summon that is extremely fast underwater but does not depend on it as he easily can create his own water sources. He can swim as at twice the base speed of a Kage rank bio (x2). On land he is slow to move but his tentacles still have very rapid movement when it comes to it. As previously mentioned, vampire squids in general have high resistance to electricity and water but are weak towards fire. Kano can take on up to B-rank damage with ease. Other than that, Kano is so far the only male specimen found in the vampire squid realm. He's very smart and has lived a very long life even though it doesn't really seem like it due to his personality. He's very open to new technology and he, like all the other vampire squids are having their summon land of the Moon Isle.

Description: Spirit Avatar is a technique that is influenced on the black wind clone technique but instead of summoning clones, an avatar of typhoon release is summoned on the field. The user performs a sequence of three handseals and creates the entity. The spirit may vary in size stretching down to the size of a stone golem. Being made by the typhoon release itself, the spirit avatar can tank anything that S rank typhoon release can tank. Albeit being very similar to the black wind clones, the avatar spirit has a very unique feature except its size variation and strength and that is that it can inhabit the user by merging with their body or that of a summoning they control. This will coat the affected body with the chakra the avatar spirit is made by and while at the same time giving the affected body the same resistance as the spirit avatar, also being controlled by the user of the technique. In combat, the avatar spirit may perform all wind/typhoon techniques based on wind and even custom fighting styles based on wind that the user knows up to A-rank. The spirit avatar may also coat material matter as well, such as swords and other objects will which give the said object the strengths of the spirit avatar (S-ranked typhoon chakra).

As Zora looked at her opponent, she was ready to fire her jutsu along with Kano. She then began to feel the world around her to vibrate drastically as soon as her eyes met the byakugan. She feared it was a genjutsu dojutsu and she would perform a single handseal to spike her chakra flow to get out of it. As she did, she knew not to look into her opponents eyes anymore for the rest of the match. She noticed how the lightning was then released and she continued with her plan. As Kanos wind would fade but decrease the destruction of the lightning, Zora released her typhoon technique which continued on its trajectory towards the lightning and pushed it back. As that happened, Kano would also bash his massive tentacles, now with the strength of two S ranked techniques smashed right into the woman from all directions at the same time. Not at all affected by the raiton chakra. He would take damage from Zoras attack though but nothing he couldnt handle.

Description: The user does one hand seal to focus and then proceeds to disturb his chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then "spiking" his spiritual energy, unbalancing his chakra. This dispels any genjutsu set upon the user except MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. A Sage rank user can dispel Genjutsu up to S-Rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu. The technique can only be used once per turn and the user still needs to fully follow the logic as to why he figured out it was an illusion.
