The only time NE was gathered was at that point of the big clash. There was no attempt in gathering more NE afterwards. So I don't where you're getting this whole thing of regenerating more NE. Kurama's own reserves were exhausted, so it wasn't NE that was regenerated but some of Kurama's chakra.
