Build something for the Clan
Summary: Realising that her clan had simply roamed around Takinomrori with no real place to call home, Fuu thought it prevalent to finally set a single location to set up there camp. After-all, a place would be needed if they intended to recruit more members and possibly store their
fairly earned Ryo, plus it would be nice to not need sleep hurriedly search for shelter when ever the whether turned.
Setting off on her own, with the intention to bring her clan-mates in later for a big reveal, Fuu would chose a suitable location for their home-base; underneath the Great Waterfall below the grounds of her birth-settlement. The very same settlement that treated her as an outcast and monster.
Traversing back through the mountains, Fuu heads east towards her birth-settlement, leaping from tree-top to rocky-outcrop at a fast pace. She wan't one to take things slow, preferring to get to her location as soon as possible. With this mentality driving her forward, it wouldn't be long before the constant sound of crashing water could be heard, signalling that Fuu was close to her target destination.
Emerging from the thick brush, the majestic sight of the Waterfall could be seen in all its might, towering at least 100-meters to the top of the falls; what would soon be the front-door to Her clan's base of operations.
Huh, didn't think you'd want to make a home here. Chomei chimed in, puzzled as to the reasoning behind Fuu's decision.
Neither did I but then I thought 'bout it a little. This is the easiest place to trade for supplies and a logical stopping place for visitors. Visitors that might have Ryo we could, umm... earn I guess, one way or the other. Fuu chuckled at her own words, purposely leaving her definition of 'earn' as vague as possible seemed to be a little joke to keep her amused.
Whatever then, just as long as this doesn't get us killed. When are the others due to come in?
Don't know.
W-what?
I didn't really tell them I was coming here. Just left a note at the camp-site with vague directions. They'll know where to go.
I guess one day you'll learn how to communicate with people... maybe... Chomei's words trailed off into silence, so that Fuu wasn't able to hear the last word of his reply.
Now finished with their little chat, Fuu would approach the Waterfall, walking along a narrow trail on the left-hand side of the Waterfall; almost like a natural pathway to the back of the falls, being five-meters higher than the natural water-level.
Always thought there was a cave or something here... She thought, puzzled about what she saw. Despite travelling all across Takinomori, Fuu never really spent much time exploring close to
that settlement, including the base of this waterfall.
She breathed out a sigh of annoyance, readying herself for the task at hand. Earth release was not her preferred element and was in fact the element she had the greatest difficulty learning, however, it was more preferable than digging with a shovel she did not have.
Performing the needed seals will focusing all her attention on the task at hand, Fuu utilise whatever earth chakra she could muster by directing it into the cliff-face before her. Several seconds pass as the cliff-face begins to open up, creating a narrow passage directly in front of her, three-meters wide and two-meters tall pushing directly into the wall before stopping ten-meters in. At this point the tunnel would take a sharp turn to the right, stopping five-meters later before taking another sharp-turn to the left so that it would run parallel with the line of the original tunnel. Continuing another five-meters, the tunnel would come to a complete stop.
Sweat pouring down her face, Fuu walked to the end of the tunnel, before placing her right hand on the cold, stone wall.
Haah-hah. Fuu's panting was loud enough to usually be audible to anyone even just outside the cave.
Th-... that was a relatively low-level jutsu. Why are you sweating so much? Chomei would berate Fuu, embarrassed that such a simple technique cause her so much physical strain.
I know right? Fuu would reply, this time simply speaking aloud and clearly ignoring Chomei's query.
and I've still got a little more work to do!. She would confidently say, standing upright before cracking the knuckles of both her hands, readying herself for the next feat.
Now warm-up, it was slightly easier for her to execute the next jutsu, also being that it wasn't being used in quite as specific and detailed manner. Slamming her hands onto the ground, Fuu would cause a separation of a twenty-meter-cubed section of earth, causing it to suddenly lower itself nineteen-and-a-half meters into the ground. Leaving a perfectly square cavern on the inside of the sturdy rocks that made up the terrain on this area, complete with a slightly-larger than average step, to enter the new area.
TA-DAAAAA!!!!!! Fuu would excitedly yell out, whilst leaping into the middle of the newly made cavern.
I must admit, this is a neat little space you've made. The surprised Chomei commented, who was now standing proudly in the middle of the cavern, hands on her hips in a triumphant pose.
and now we wait for the others to show up, hopefully with the bed-rolls... This time Fuu would reply within the shared mental realm. Clearly exhausted from the day's work, Fuu would sit on the ground, before collapsing onto the ground in a deep slumber. It surely wouldn't be long now, before the others soon found their way here to marvel at Fuu's creation.
