As a mangaka,

I'd have a particular character as the lead character of the franchise, however, the franchise will not be limited to that character alone, because that's just boring. Every story typically has a lead character.

PRomised neverland,

It was 3 characters presented as main characters, with the orange haired girl being portrayed as the lead character. They all had significant panel time, until they separated, with the lead character having the most panel time, which is typical. Now with sarada and mitsuki...lmao, their shine has been taken away. They don't seem to be anything more than "showy" side kicks, specifically to serve some critera with no real purpose behind it. Like he was just trying to get them out of the way, to get to the main attraction...and that's entirely too repetitive...cause people are tired of boruto, especially if his own character can't move forward with his own development of hidden powers. I've yet to see the curse mark develop further, or his jougan activate.So much procrastination.

So then, move on the next character, and let the alternative main characters, Sarada, for instance, step up to the plate. That's how it goes, when it comes to being less predictable, repetitive, and having character diversity. You can do something else.

Not everyone is gonna take a liking to Boruto, lmao.

Yeah, and she has shown prodigious levels of lightning control, but she has to be nerfed/restricted, and I don't even need to mention the reason why.

As a character he has to straddle that line though. He has to be the annoying kid of naruto while also wanting to be as cool as sasuke. I agree the sidelining is a bit much, but i think Sarada fans aren’t looking at the big picture. Plus we have no clue what their plan is for the other 2 as far as the time skip. It’s possible that the entire k11 bar boruto are actually just victims who end up suffering cause of something boruto does. You guys are all seeing this as boruto being praised and set up to be a god, I see it as one big set up for one giant fall from grace

Yea they will, it’ll just be when the time is right and how it correlates to the situation that boruto will find himself in. It’s the way they set it up, it’s the way they portrayed it, I don’t really see the reason for constant upset every week. No not really. I see him being D ridden and overhyped(due to plot pulls), he'll fall which is likely(because it would be evern worse if he didn't) then have his redemption(how he make amends) and be D ridden again. All will be forgiven because he's the protagonist and main character. While everybody else just sits on the side or gets some off screen power ups to be relevant as future D riders and cheerleaders.

It's bad writing, blatantly predictable, random ass pulls for the sake of progression when the writer cant think of how to write a decent story.

Bold is pretty much insecurity/ a little damage control especially when we consider the chapter isn't even out completely :lol And it stems from this Uchiha-Hyuga fanwar. Luckily for me though, i actually do like Sarada somewhat and i'm looking forward to her development as well as Boruto's.

Actually not true I hate bad writing full stop, I'll say it loud and clear if Sarada was doing the same it would be trash. I've even criticised Kishi's writing post pain arc many a times because it went downhill.

I've even criticsed the anime, they were overdeveloping the genin and overloading them with jutsu and mad skills instead of steady development with a couple of jitsu and strategic use. I've praised Sarada's little shine here and there for rustling purposes but I genuinely hate bad writing. Even if it is my favourite character.

I agree, I like Sarada as much as boruto, I just think they’re doing her dirty, and not even cause of the “lack of panel time”. Just making her a “slower” character with a sharingan, I thought that was outright stupid

I didn't see many people complaining when the main heroine of naruto was ignored for 600+ chapters, Or the story focusing heavily on the uchiha/Senju or Indra/Ashura descendants by pushing almost everyone else and every other clan to the side in shippuden

But now it's sarada getting sidelined, it's suddenly a huge issue to a certain group of people.
