I wonder if we'll ever get a chapter in which:

- Boruto isn't the main focus
- Other characters aren't tossed aside/portrayed as his side-kicks
- Boruto doesn't end up saving the day

This has been clear since Day 1. Sasuke and Naruto were introduced with 2 parallel story lines in the old series. They have made it clear here that no one but Bolt matters. So if you don't like him, this isn't the series for you

I gotta agree with this, there’s a f ck load of salt in this thread. I don’t care if we get 40 panels of only boruto as long as it furthers this f cking series along, like can’t peopke just be glad the plots finally moving along? Sorry to say for most but if the 102 ep rumor is true, I wouldn’t expect to see too much development out of anyone bar boruto and Kara members/kawaki.

23 chapters = to at least 52 of Kishi's. Naruto wasn't ridden for those 52 chapters and neither did he have his squad of cheerleaders and a fodder sensei.

Yea but narutos story was very much about his bonds as much as it was his becoming hokage. Borutos story is seemingly how the end if ninja is brought about. If he’s one of the main reasons to this end, it would make complete sense that he’s always the central focus

What also bothers me, are the responses with deceptive intent made by one of the members on this thread. They assume that because someone is a main character, that means the characters must be made specifically to "compliment" or accentuate the main character. No, that's a fallacy and a false conclusion they made about the issue, the main character simply has the lead role, while other characters can simply serve as "support" or for character diversity, to help the all around STORY.And what was stated, was that the supporting characters(That are actually main characters, as well, cause a main character can support, too) were INCONSISTENT, and lacked further character development.All characters who show up repeatedly, are going require more development, at some point.Sarada had a whole manga dedicated to her and her personal story.Sasuke has had several chapters dedicated to him, serving as a rival.Shikamaru, Choji, etc...have had chapters DEDICATED to them.And with this manga,it's sort of like negligence.I also feel like there isn't any time to do so.

But these people are such selective readers/thinkers, only noticing bits and pieces of information and then painting a picture about it.

there's 12 chapters of new content not 23. the movie is not counted. anyway u just can't judge side characters as if the manga ended without any single side character having focus :kk: it doesn't work this way

That would be true however he wants to choke on Sasuke's piece and should be more shadowy (less screen time). He wants to he a show who supports the Hokage (the head of ninja). I personally believe he's involved in trying to bring the end of ninja however everybody else getting sidelined every chapter makes 0 sense.

As a character he has to straddle that line though. He has to be the annoying kid of naruto while also wanting to be as cool as sasuke. I agree the sidelining is a bit much, but i think Sarada fans aren’t looking at the big picture. Plus we have no clue what their plan is for the other 2 as far as the time skip. It’s possible that the entire k11 bar boruto are actually just victims who end up suffering cause of something boruto does. You guys are all seeing this as boruto being praised and set up to be a god, I see it as one big set up for one giant fall from grace

Sarada only had 10 chapters, but Boruto and others also had screen time... and now do we have now? another 700 chapters of Boruto's story developing? I dropped this manga anyways , but this shit is still pissing me off. Some people might actually dont like this, but they are still doing their thing and put this fucking retard on top of everyone.
