I doubt that he doesn't have one when Danzo Tried Destroy the eye he failed. the last time we seen AO was before the the Juubi nuked the base of operations i believe. and he still had his eye, unsless they explain how he got away and it damaged his byakugan in the process,

I bet he has something in place of it though. Or maybe that explains why he is even with Kara and kind of depressed sounding? He has no really confidence anymore due to his main trump card and reason why he was strong and feared being gone.. which is why he feels he is "no longer a shinobi" and how Kara manipulates him.

The scan literally said he lost the Byakugan in the fourth war.

That'd be interesting.

i hope he has it that freaking, sucks a also went back and saw this, until i seen the part when he attacked boruto from the back

Yeah, unfortunately Ao has lost it in the war. The translation where Konohamaru speculates about it is wrong. In the original Japanese Konohamaru states that Ao lost it when injured during the war.

Nope, don’t have the time for it. I used to translate leaked raws and scripts of Naruto when they came out, now I’m just lurking but feel free to ask me for translations if you have anything in mind.
Oh, cool! It's good to see someone is agreeing that the Viz's translation is more accurate than the fan translation. Some people were claiming the Viz got it wrong and that Ao could still have the Byakugan. Any idea why there's different translations sometimes?

It really is hit and miss. Sometimes the fan traslations get it right and sometimes VIZ does. My only explanation would be that the translators make mistakes. Like the quote regarding Ao,
Konohamaru says:

「。。。対戦での負傷で白眼を失っているからな」

Which translates to:

「...because due to injury in battle he lost his Byakugan」

The last part 「からな」literally means 「because」 but the translation team might have read it as 「かな」 which means 「maybe」. I think that’s where the different translation came from. They missed a letter and the whole meaning changed.

I'm gonna use your post as a reference, if you don't mind.
