Why isn't Sarada top of her class

It doesn't make any sense for her not to be, the anime is kinda being wishywashy with her character , at first she isn't like Sasuke in the sense of being anti social, then she is, then isn't , then is... like stick to one.

And beside I was watching itachis origin story and should be held to the same regard, she is a master at shuriken, she has perfect chakra control, excels in intellegence in all catergorys

What I think is going on is gender bias and Uchiha biased against her, becAuse she is clearly superior to everyone in her class and everyone even admits this. Even in Gaiden before she developed sharingan, and let's not get into that.

Now this new gen is no joke, they all have cute little abilities, but they aren't the full package , except for Sarada. Naruto, the hokage , even witnessed her power and skill and yet he didn't elect her chunnin. Which wouldn't have been far fetched as she eased her way through the chunnin exams.

I think Naruto held her back because her purposely wanted her to be on a team with Boruto

It is because of second rate writing and fanboying on SP's part. Anyway I prefer her not to the best it gives her room for development otherwise she'd be at the level of the Soloking and one panelling Sannin level characters in a years time. That would make her too boring as a character without much room for development potential.

That's obvious but was it ever said Boruto was number 1 by the graduation? I dont remember any such statement or a confirmation in the anime or manga. Even in the manga he gets low diffed by Sarada during their bout. In the chunin exam he's forced to cheat his way through because he doesn't have the necessary ability to win on his own merits. Mitsuki is on another level altogether both in in the anime and manga.

sarada's glasses are a seal to restrict her dojutsu ability until she becomes older and more capable of using it reasonably...she had totsuka and yata from birth and she sealed teh midwife who delivered her. from that moment on they had to put measures in place to ensure such an incident didn't happen again

There is no proof to support this silly claim. Quite on the contrary.

Boruto (with killing intent) lost to Shikadai in the train.
And we all know he will lose to Shikadai again.

Also he's obviously not even close to Mitsuki. I can't believe they are even arguing this in the first place.
