Yonko commanders are way past vice-admirals. even Barto took one out... It's not odd to think marines would need to fill competition for them. Most of the shichibukai didnt even fight WB so much as his crew.
I'm not following what you're saying here. I already know that the Yonko commanders are above vice admirals and so are the Warlords, in fact they are on the same level besides the first mates.

The reasoning for the Shichibukai being in the equation can be attributed to the fact that Yonko also have commanders that are well past vice-admirals. It does not mean anything much regarding a scenario where an admiral and a Yonko fight each other in a 1v1. Especially true looking at how the Shichibukai attacked commanders and fodder more than anything.

Shichibukai being in the equation is to aid in power because an admiral cannot beat a Yonkou on his own in the first place. Even if the Warlords of the Seas/Commanders are superior in power against a Vice-admiral they, but the marine side still have the numbers.

Besides the first mates of a yonkou ship, commanders are on the same strength as the shichibukai. They're both warlord levels.
So a gang of vice admirals against one commander maybe sufficient enough to beat or stall to get the job done.
Now you implying admirals are equal to yonkous is way out of line here. A good example would be Whitebeard, the second yonkou to be introduced. In his prime he fought Gol Rogers to a stalemate before and in his old age he was considered the strongest man in the world. Even being superior to Rayleigh if they were to go on a one on one fight. Now here you have Kizaru an Admiral admitting that Kizaru is not enough for Rayleigh at his old age:

We all know old WB>old Rayleigh, so the order fits that an a Yonkou>an Admiral one on one. You need to realize that it took a 3 admirals, all marines, and Warlords to fight 1 Yonkou crew and his allies. Add a second Yonkou crew to the mix and you have a serious slaughterhouse on the marine's side.
To argue otherwise would not only not make much sense but it'll also be pure fanboism to argue that an admiral is equal to or superior.
There are no levels in one piece enel and Luffy showed that so did croc vs Luffy. If two fruit users fight it's up in the wind to who wins.
If Luffy wasn't rubber he would be dead a thousand times over and so would most of his crew. But that doesn't make him automatically stronger than a brute strength fighter

I think we should try to exclude Luffy from stuff like this as much as possible since he gets the MC advantage, I don't think you can really chalk Luffy/Croc up to DF edge like Enel.

Agree with this. Imho the luffy vs croc fight where the droplet lands on luffy and saves his life is like a bunch of bs lmao. Worst fight in the Manga if you ask me, the luck was just too fake.
And to the guy saying if luffy wasn't rubber he would be dead by now... well look at Marco lmao, he's immortal basically
