Without the word "anime" there, someone could easily think that the OP is calling the character Boruto artificial darkness (like how Konan once called Obito the darkness, though not artificial).

Someone could also think that the OP meant the Boruto series as a whole (manga/anime/movie/character etc...).

It makes sense to add the word "anime" in this case and in many other cases.

This could be ambiguous. Are you waiting to see Squiduard in the cartoon known as Spongebob, or are you waiting to see Squiduard inside of Spongebob's (the character's) body? Let it be known that Spongebob and Patrick once traveled inside of Squiduard's body using a shrinking submarine, so the latter suggestion is possible.

Like one person said though, the best thing about this thread was learning that Spongebob has a comic.

Have you even watched an X-men or Guardians of the Galaxy or Batman film? You know how many times people say “hey I can’t wait until Poison Ivy or Bane or Apocalypse or Thanos, etc shows up in the sequel.”

This thread makes no sense and just sounds like a personal gripe with certain members of the base and their opinions to be honest.

Doesn't matter though. Whether you use “a” or “an” depends on the sound of the first letter you pronounce, not the letter itself. You say “a” for consonant sounds and “an” for vowel sounds, which 's' just so happens to be
