I think Air Palm is made of Chakra since Kaguya's attack seems to have retconned it from being a shockwave that is compressed by Chakra (what the databook 3 says) to being a blast of Chakra shot out of the palm (what databook 4 says). idk.

I don't think Wall Palm is difficult technique to learn. It is available to the Side family unlike TLF or 64 Palms, so that alone should be proof it is comparatively simpler. It is simply putting Chakra into the palm and releasing it, and given that techniques like TLF and Rotation are more complex in that regard, I think most Hyugas can do it. Hinata and Neji probably just combine their Air Palms during the war to save stamina.

I have to completly disagree here. The simple fact that Hiashi said that Neji and Hinata's Air-palms wouldn't be sufficient against the pinpointed spikes due to numbers clearly shows that Neji/Hinata cannot use Wall palm by themself as doing so would've cleared that exact amount of spikes.

Also If Neji , who mastered Rotation in a month by age 13 couldn't use Wall palm by the War arc , then im pretty sure it stands as the hardest Hyuga tech to learn and clearly isn't portrayed as simple as u think. This is why Cloaked Hiashi was the only one to use it while the other cloaked nameless Hyugas used basic Air-palm. Pretty sure if Wall palm was so easy then any Hyuga other than Hiashi would've used it in the War as it shits on basic Air-palm with no excuses.

Neji definitely should have been given his own techniques to develop, but tbh sometimes I think Kishimoto had to ignore him and other Hyuga because of how strong he made them in Part 1. I mean, Gentle Fist damage on 3 y/o baby = Gentle Fist damage on Madara since it was established it can't be tanked or trained. You will have to have high-speed regeneration as the only counter, like Kaguya Clan, Juubi Jinchuriki, or Byakigo. Then combine that untankable power with all-seeing eye, Ninjutsu destruction with Gentle Fist, and unmatched Taijutsu, and the Hyuga are easily broken as hell. This is why Kishimoto is ignoring and not giving most Ootsutsuki Gentle Fist abilities.

Neji also showed One Blow Body iirc during the war, so there is that too.

As for Air Palm possibly being like a ranged Gentle Fist, it would be cool. Maybe we will get Twin Lions/Air Palm combo to act like the way you are describing Air Palm and be a ranged Gentle Fist technique. Though realistically speaking, a ranged Gentle Fist attack can't close Chakra points or damage organs since those require extreme precision.

That same extreme precision is also directly attributed to Air-palm via db , not to Neji sending chakra through a string requires less precision as all he did was flood chakra which Kidomaru basically drank lol. Air-palm as a ranged GF would send the Chakra straight through the body with more force than their normal strikes tho i agree that Blocking Chakra points isn't logical , but attacking vitals makes sense. Not to mention i always preached of how useless 64 palm is compared to normal Jyuken and basic tenketsu strikes as Neji showed at the very end of his fight with kido.

-I think the reason Hyuga had no panel time in p2 was due to editors and general direction as its clear Kishi meant to do much more with people like Lee/Neji/Hinata. I added Lee since u cant have one without the other for too long since rivals. I dont think they were rejected because of power as thats more reason to give them more panel time , not less.

From what I recall, it was said Gentle Fist does damage to the organs via the Chakra Network, so even then , I doubt a ranged Gentle Fist attack that does damage to the organs via the network is possible, but a ranged Gentle Fist attack that does normal damage without aiming at the network is possible, like what Kaguya did to Susuano'O

Maybe, maybe not. But even in the first arc, Team Gai was largely ignored. Then again, even Naruto himself wasn't really relevant in Part 2 until the Pain Arc and onwards. Before that, he really only had a few moments in the Sasuke & Sai Arc and near the end of Shikamaru's arc.

Hinata's character arc was a untalented timid person growing up to become a strong, capable and confident ninja through training and never give up attitude.

Even in the hands of the most dull writer, she will shown with rotation if she gets screen-time.
