Less to do with perfect and more to do with self-insertion to the plot. Almost like an immediate proxy for the author and while naruto/edo itachi was kinda the same in pt2 it was no where as transparent as boruto's until chptr 500'ish (maybe even later). Anyway the exam was forced as hell to get him to become the quick prodigy that he already was.
Good point. Though honestly, Itachi/Naruto had few "negative" aspects to their characters at those points in the story. Whereas Boruto is just a brat, immature, ungrateful, etc. You know the jist. He's hardly near any standard. The examination provided a lool at his mindset, and that he was holding himself back. We at least have to agree at the fundamentals here.
same shit different name. Cursed fate, destined fate. I.e ridiculous lengths to validate a character from the rest.
Is that a bad thing though? Boruto was gonna hold that title as MC amyway. It barely effected Naruto/Sasuke, only when dealing with previous contradictions about "fate not being an advocate for his future" or saving the world via God hand outs.
At least here we get a negative connotation that it's bad.
-_- No one on that planet ever had jougan whatever the hell its called so where is your list? Hashi? You're going to use hashi the known god of shinobi or someone comparable as your example of boruto being less sue'ish. Ok.
If that was the case, how would Toneri know about the Jougan bro?
In terms of original powers, I was gonna run them along generally via entire series. Most prominent characters have their own unique powers/techniques that can't be easily obtained. For example, Deidara's art being a ninja form he uses specifically. Or Kakuzu's heart stealing abilities. Even Jashinism seems codependent on Hidan so far.
Eh... I just don't see an issue with bringing new stuff on the table. There's also this weird girl in Kara who appears to have a unique set of eyes. So maybe another Dojutsu? Who knows.
Meanwhile narusasu had to be the strongest living ninja. 2. Obtain required chakra. 3. "Die" . all just to meet hagoromo. They had to work their ass to the top to obtain abilities from a god not the other way around.
You right. But Boruto wasn't handed power like that - Momoshiki sought him out after Boruto felt his presence. There's also this underlying subtext that we are missing the bigger picture. Wheras a villain gave Boruto a seal Sasuke/Naruto are worried about, and the only existing characters who have it are both presumably villainous: Jigen, and Kawaki.
In that contrast Naruto and Sasuke were given powers in order to stop Madara (and Kaguya).
Funny quote when you look back and realized this genin successfully landed this "trajectory" on a god whose reflexes quick enough to rival the fastest blitzer in the series. (Sasuke)
Do you mean his Rasengan? Momoshiki thought it disappeared, and let his guard down lmao.
Look, my argument isn't he need to be fodder. My argument is he needed to build up to this point with opposing challenges and I'm glad you brought up sasuke. Boruto effortlessly has two elements at the age of 12 almost immidately meanwhile a legit dojutsu user has to go leap and bounds, from intense manga development down to getting his ass kicked by lee to eventually progress in learning chidori. This ike guy is just handing boruto stuff like it's candy and now desperately has to play the quick catch up game with sarada to balance out his nonsense. Terrible writing, late 4th ninja war arc quality all over again. Maybe even worst.
I can't post scans on mobile ATM, but I will send them to you later to confirm that I'm not lying to you.
1. Boruto stated he was practicing his ninjutsu abilities over the mini skip between Academy - Gaiden - Mist Arcs.
2. Konohamaru was stated to be the one who helped Boruto learn to utilize his natures via Manga.
After the CE, Naruro clarified that he had been training hard too. Though the disappoints is based on that most of the training is off screen ATM.
In any case, elemental natures in Boruto seem like a joke.
Iwabee had Earth Release Academy Arc
Sumire had Water Release
Mitsuki had lightning and wind too.
Random side fodders using elements in the academy, like the one guy Mitsuki beat up when Boruto met him the first time.
You get my drift.
Over his own daughter. Wow indeed
How do we know Sasuke isn't training Sarada? In any case, Sasuke stepped in for Boruto like Naruto did for Sarada. I don't see the big deal unless we see Sasuke intentionally choosing one over the other. In any case Sasuke hasn't trained with Boruto since the film, so we might not see that until the Part 1 ending like Naruto did.
Presumably the other characters might go off and find their masters too. Maybe.
You know that old saying when people said naruto is only op and effortlessly superior to everyone else because it's the title of the series? That was bs but in this case it just might be true for boruto.
Well Boruto is strong no doubt, but he ain't number one yet.
Mitsuki has SM, and Sarada is near his level. Outside of them, no one else in their gen stacks up IMO.
The time skip Boruto will probably be one of the strongest in his gen. Maybe.
Tell me what you think. Sorry for any spelling mistakes in adv guys.
On mobile. Shit is annoying af
Everything is coming to him easily without struggle
Eh. Boruto was struggling with learning Mitsuki's wind technique, and he had a poor man's Rasengan in the film.
Everyone seems to love/like him as a reminisce to Naruto
People disliked Boruto in the first few episodes, but when they got to know him, it was clear.
On that side... I don't think there is any character that is hated IMO via context between characters.
.
He's an acclaimed genius and at the top of his class
One of top, Sarada is the honor student of their graduation class. Plus we know what happens to Boruto later down the line: Needing to cheat.
.
He has the power of Friendship
XD You killing me!!
Boruto just has it way too easy, which is why he's disliked all over Youtube and other forums.[/SIZE]
I disagree. He's well liked, especially the Manga version. People just don't like him disrespecting his old man. It's a shame, but what can you do?
