Well, perhaps some details been exaggerated, but sure. Some Kuwaiti official figures been executed by Saddam's Army after Saad Al-Salim Al-Sabah fled to Dammam (Saudi Arabia) for political asylum. But that's not the point.

In 1990, in the summit between Gulf and Arab countries, Ali Abdullah Saleh refused to vote to bring foreign force to co-op to kick out the Iraq army from Kuwait. His vote caused all Yemenis in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to leave and go back to Yemen. Before that Yemenis were able to live and work in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait without a need for a sponsor or passport.

This is politics and it's ugly as fuk, because your neighbor (a country) isn't trustworthy. Public advantages are fine, but you have to keep on guard what's your neighbor country have up his sleeves.

This still doesn't acquit Saudi Arabia from what they've done in Yemen. Being protective about "what's your neighbor country have up his sleeves" doesn't mean you should attack them like this...also Yemen is a very poor country... If Saudi government has any problem, it is the Houthies, Ali Abdullah Saleh and most of all, Iran government and Hasan Nasrallah.
