The anime already foreshadowed Mitsuki playing an important role in the series and probably related with the Ôtsutsuki, even being represented as Boruto's moon.

Meanwhile Studio Pierrot and even the manga writer push Sarada at being the main character love interest. It's not entirely Kodachi fault since everything started in the Boruto Movie ( Kishimoto's work )

Why would I be scared? There is literally nothing to be scared of. I'm being hopeful for her fans hyping her as Boruto equal or even rival when nothing like this as been established, she is Boruto's teammate nothing else.

Both manga and the anime is hinting at Sarada and Sumire rivalry and here we have delusional Sarada fans who think that Sarada could or would be a rival for Boruto just cuz she managed to land a hit...:lol
Anyway I think Kawaki is going to be Boruto's rival considering their conversation in the future at the start of the manga.

I'm not delusional, unlike you; I know Boruto will be the strongest since he's the MC. You, though, I'm not so sure. I like Boruto and Mitsuki and the rest of the new gen characters. I'm watching the show for fun, unlike you, who's putting all her time and energy into a fictional character's life all day every day as if living vicariously through them. You're insecure, and petty. It's pathetic, really, knowing you weren't satisfied with Hinata's progress so much so that you're finding hope in her son. I get it, it's a defense mechanism of yours to try and color everything the way you want to prove a point because the truth says otherwise, but the only one that's been humiliating herself here everyday is you. I do have many annoyances with Sarada as a character, just like I do with many others, but in the end I like them all and I've been impressed with her so far, just what I'd expected from Sasuke's daughter.
