Sarada is Boruto's real rival not Mitsuki

This could be considered the first ever encounter between an Uchiha and a Hyuga

One of the biggest debates that Kishi never addressed was whether a Hyuga could rival an Uchiha, we still don't know if Byakugan can see through Sharingan illusions or whether an Uchiha can resist Juken and we may finally get some answers with the new gen.


For this reason I believe Sarada will surpass Mitsuki in relevance and be the measuring tool for Boruto's growth like Itachi was for Sasuke. It will also keep the Senju/Uchiha dynamic that made the original series popular.

And yet we never saw them fight an Uchiha, the opportunity to compare Sharingan and Byakugan couldn't be better and it's something many fans have wanted to see since part 1. Boruto was using open palms in his fight against Sarada which could foreshadow an eventual Juken vs Sharingan battle. :yeah:

So idk what you are comparing. The future? Well in the future Boruto goes for kenjutsu.

You can't really compete with sarada off of your own back. The good news is he's got a handout (seal) which'll likely allow him to rise somewhere close to Sarada's level. And he need to train either Hanabi Hime the heiress of the Hyuga clan.

It's a well known strategy in a series, nerf isn't even that rare. Just look at Naruto in Shippuden, so many example. I guess they need to nerf him so they can keep up ( well she still get stomped in 1v1 with Ninjutsu but that's to be expected ).

I can't wait for the Jougan to have some spotlight, that would be the end of the Sharingan.
