I think Sarada has a fair chance to compete with Bolt easily right now. Wouldn't be surprised if she ends up being overall stronger in every category. Cause it's possible.

I think once Bolt learns more about his seal, eye, and curse -- He'll start to move away from his generation, and probably will defect from his relationships. If anything that's probably where his Kawaki camaraderie will start.

But I'll figure this out next chapter. I have a feeling Boruto will have a key part in stopping Ao, more so than Sarada/Mitsuki since he would be affected on a personal level.

Exactly. I don't want to bash or anything but I don't see any "big" future for Sarada as a character, currently she is just a member of the same team as the MC and a love interest at best... The Uchiha already got explored, we know everything about them and the majority of the fandom doesn't want any Uchiha wanks anymore.

The flash forward portray Kawaki as someone very important for the story, maybe his rival. If Boruto leave for Kara which is highly possible, I can see Mitsuki being important but I don't see any purpose for Sarada other than being the MC love interest. Hopefully, I'm wrong.

While in the same episode Sumire went Gaga it's a given Boruto will be with Sumire or Mitsuki. Her reintroduction in the manga further adds weight to that.

The anime already foreshadowed Mitsuki playing an important role in the series and probably related with the Ôtsutsuki, even being represented as Boruto's moon.

Meanwhile Studio Pierrot and even the manga writer push Sarada at being the main character love interest. It's not entirely Kodachi fault since everything started in the Boruto Movie ( Kishimoto's work )

Ignore the member shell post all sorts of BS as proof. Boruto episode 34 confirmed that Sarada will have a Sakura/Naruto style relationship of firendship with Boruto. And it was Sumire who was actually oogling over Boruto but Hinabae pushing Sarada is all Hinabae's got to go on to try and downplay her. Boruto getting low diffed doesn't give her much to boast about.
