good ideas, executed poorly

posted my thoughts in another thread

Honestly they could've done that arc better by at least showing some assassinations or post assassinations in order to confuse the viewer into believing that Chojuro was indeed shady.

They could've even had Shizuma pretending to investigate that matter and convincing the seven swords mans that they need to do this in order to save the village.

But instead we just had some vague stuff about these killings and Shizuma just blabbering about the Blood Mist all day like some fanboy.

4/10 overall honestly because the animation was on point the entire arc.

Sarada's episode and Boruto's episode were the only worthy parts of the arc, everything else was disappointing and easily forgettable.

Sarada's episode: 9/10
Boruto's episode: 7/10

Yeah it was a good idea using the seven swords mist lore Kishi introduced in part 1. That's one of the best thing about the ark is seeing what the swords can do

A solid 6. There was good moments, and good build up, but the overall arc is a bit of a letdown imo

I wanna give it a 7 cause the fights were 7/10, but the plot and interest, as well as shitty characters (Kagura) bring it down heavily.

I gave it a 4, and honestly, that was merciful. All it had was fights, and world building.

Thankfully it was very short.

7 for the Sarada fight excellent display of Sharingan usage, and 1 for the Boruto asspull filler. When you for a shadow clone it divides your stamina equally between the 4. Each time a shadow clone is destroyed you lose that stamina. So Boruto with 1/4 stamina then being able to form 4 shadow clones and doing what he did let the arc down. During Boruto's fight he had unlimited stamina when the canon stats confirm he has less stamina/chakra than his team mates.
