Trump is a PoS pig obviously but nothing is more scarier than a wolf in sheep clothing. The extreme amounts of disrespect to this current president is not quite what President Obama received, but it's almost that level. President Obama and his wife were likened to monkeys constantly. His legitimacy as an American was brought into question over and over for a reason that is obvious. Why do I bring this up? Because a huge majority of his base genuinely care about that flag. If he can take away from the players' message and use their protest to make himself look good in front of his base it helps him in the long run. The longer they protest the more it helps him.
