According to shinden Itachi could already perform shadow clones and all sorts of jutsu.

Now I'm not sure if it's filler bit Kakashi could also perform shadow clones and earth and other techs as well.

Sasuke's skills were well rounded overall.

Pretty much on the same page.

Anyway Shadow clones jutsu was called jonin rank not because of difficulty but because of its dangers. And with Genin(IQ and all) using such a jutsu would endanger them it's also why it's considered a forbidden jutsu.

Everyone would like to see him fighting Hyuga style gentle Fist but we should accept reality where he probably won´t rely or use it at all I mean he is a guy that knows Rasengan, Shadow clone, has 3 elements, has Katana as weapon .

Only hope remains in his eye and potential new abilities.

Kage bunshin is A rank and is forbidden due to the chakra it takes to make and maintain them. Naruto made 1k + of them at a younger age than Boruto. Both of his techniques are A rank just like Naruto's Rasengan and kage bunshins. And Sasuke's Chidori.

Boruto is arguably the second best prodigy after Itachi. Kakashi is nothing special without the sharingan, and as genin he only has imperfect chidori. I don't think Minato is much of a prodigy at Boruto age since he probably learn most of the techniques later on when grew older and the whole rasengan took him 3 years meanwhile Boruto was training rasengan only to ended up inventing a technique, Vanashing rasengan which he somehow unconsciously apply wind nature to it. Boruto then manage to perfect normal rasengan in such a short span like for a week. Lastly, Sasuke has two elements as genin, whereas Boruto has two asan academy which shows you huge gap of experiences. Sasuke was fast and efficient, so does Boruto.
