Before you jump to conclusions from this thread's title, know that I am not retiring from the RP. In the future will be as active in the RP as I am now. However, I will not be battling.

I'm giving up battling. It seems that at least for me, battling with other people only brings about argument, strife, and negativity. For me, nothing good comes about from battling. So, I'm giving it up. I don't know how long this will last - knowing me, I may change my mind about this very soon. But until then, I am sure that I don't want to battle.

Likewise, I am resigning from my position of Tsuchikage in the Rock Village. I will still be part of the Rock Village and I will still offer advice on anything pertaining to the Rock Village and its alliance, but I refuse to hold the title of Tsuchikage. The Kage of a village is the one who can best defend the village from any threats, and because I will no longer be battling, I will not be defending the village. Therefore, I am unqualified for the position.

Nevertheless, I will still be training people from the Rock Village, Leaf Village, and Sand Village. In fact, I will be training more people than before because I will have more time. In that way, I will be passing on my skills to the members of the RP rather than using those skills to destroy members of the RP. By not battling anymore, I will be helping the RP more than I would be otherwise.

I am henceforth giving up all of my CJ's that were approved prior to the creation of the most recent CJ submission thread. They're OP, and it's not like I will be using CJ's anyway. Sorry, Rag and Elias :p

I will still spar with people from time to time, but only because I can teach people that way, and because sparring matches don't foster negativity.

Like I said before, I will still offer advice and help to the Iwa/Konoha/Suna alliance, but I will not fight for them, or for anyone. I have never enjoyed war, and while war does help the RP as a whole and while I support its existence and its continued existence, war can help the RP more without my involvement and my negativity in it.

*sigh* It seems that everyone is overreacting as a result of the war's outcome. Not to say you are, Bisha, because I personally did not see the reason for so many huge arguments against each and every single one of your moves. (Personally, I wouldn't have made a big deal even if you did make a mistake...I think everyone was simply trying to win the war, no matter how small the technicality). It seemed almost contrived, but what could you expect. You're BishamonSama. Everyone is out to kill you at all costs. =/

Well, I hope you will return to RP again Bisha, and, by mere speculation on my part, I believe you probably will. :p

Lol, I made this thread before I saw that the war had ended xdxd

ANNOUNCEMENT: Because peace has been declared, I will now be teaching students from any village!

And how is this a sad day? xd It's a good day! I'm devoting more time to training students. That's better for the Battle Arena. ^^

The problem is, they don't grow like they used to xd

You need to train another trio like Hiruzen, Goro, and Kaze xd

Ehhh look bisha i might me a player who hasnt got many experience in rp-ing but i have seen something . If people are being defeated , they will try to escape using arguing . They will argue until they escape or you change your move . Thats a fact . If people begin to argue it means you are an important person , who does moves way beyond they're level of thinking .

Dont leave , just enjoy that people cant counter you with moves , they can counter you only with arguing .

Or like Rag and Elias? xd

I could do that. But I think my time might be better served teaching a lot of students.

That's certainly a good point, but I always end up arguing back at them, and that just makes everyone more frustrated and more hostile towards each other. I don't want to destroy social relationships; I want to create. In my most recent argument with NU, I even lost sleep over it. It's just not good. =/

o_O
*steal his battle uniform and runs as fast as I can*
I guess you will change your mind soon xd .
Lol xd Feel free to take it. But there are some stains ...<_<...>_>...

Honestly I commend your decision. Not just on trying to reduce arguing (which I admit, I tend to do a bit when I feel I'm right.) but also on giving up all your old OP customs. I think that is something all the senior members should be doing.

Realistically, its no longer possible to get OP customs approved, so the newer members have little to no chance of standing up to the senior members, especially in things like the war. As I'm sure everyone saw, the war basically resulted in only the senior members fighting and telling the regular members to stay out of it. And I for one just don't think thats right.

So I applaud you Bishamon for taking this step towards improving RP and I hope the other seniors can decide to follow your example and let go of their OP customs. I do however hope you decide to come back to battling eventually and just try to work on reducing the arguing. As you said, battling is how members gain experience and you can help them in that.

It's not about killing him at all cost. It's about what's right. If someone makes a mistake in a fight, we discuss about it. If everyone agrees on a final verdict, I don't call it "trying to kill at all cost", it's called a fair win.

Accepting defeat is part of the game. Arguing like he did is just overdoing it, and now he retires because he was arguing? I call this being a drama queen.

You can both flame me as much as you like. I don't really care. I feel like I just wrote what most of us think but didn't wanted to post.

Simply, I felt that it didn't need to be dragged out 5+ pages O_O
But of course, I guess those actually involved in the dilemma have the most accurate perspective...in a sense O_O
