Before you jump to conclusions from this thread's title, know that I am not retiring from the RP. In the future will be as active in the RP as I am now. However, I will not be battling.
I'm giving up battling. It seems that at least for me, battling with other people only brings about argument, strife, and negativity. For me, nothing good comes about from battling. So, I'm giving it up. I don't know how long this will last - knowing me, I may change my mind about this very soon. But until then, I am sure that I don't want to battle.
Likewise, I am resigning from my position of Tsuchikage in the Rock Village. I will still be part of the Rock Village and I will still offer advice on anything pertaining to the Rock Village and its alliance, but I refuse to hold the title of Tsuchikage. The Kage of a village is the one who can best defend the village from any threats, and because I will no longer be battling, I will not be defending the village. Therefore, I am unqualified for the position.
Nevertheless, I will still be training people from the Rock Village, Leaf Village, and Sand Village. In fact, I will be training more people than before because I will have more time. In that way, I will be passing on my skills to the members of the RP rather than using those skills to destroy members of the RP. By not battling anymore, I will be helping the RP more than I would be otherwise.
I am henceforth giving up all of my CJ's that were approved prior to the creation of the most recent CJ submission thread. They're OP, and it's not like I will be using CJ's anyway. Sorry, Rag and Elias
I will still spar with people from time to time, but only because I can teach people that way, and because sparring matches don't foster negativity.
Like I said before, I will still offer advice and help to the Iwa/Konoha/Suna alliance, but I will not fight for them, or for anyone. I have never enjoyed war, and while war does help the RP as a whole and while I support its existence and its continued existence, war can help the RP more without my involvement and my negativity in it.
