True, but Sasuke had a more important role in the story. Realistically, plenty of people would have tried kidnapping Sasuke. He probably wouldn't have made it into his Genin rank before being taken away.

Risking infiltrating the heavily defended hyuga fortress to capture someone alive and then getting out would be much more difficult than simply kidnapping someone else and yet they chose to do that tells me otherwise.

As for Sasuke, if they can't see Hinata potential at that age I doubt they could've seen Sasuke's either and anyway they were not at all interested in the uchihas.

Also my boy Itachi could do that if Hiruzen told him . And he'd neg diff Kumogakure for good

Jiraiya is an infiltrator but he's not getting past kumo ninja. You may like him but he was nowhere to be seen during the 3rd war. Or konoha invasion arc (only using food cart destroyer) he didn't give 2 shits about konoha until Tsunade.

Danzo yes there's potential but like I said he'd get nowhere near kumo and doesnt have the might. You forget kumo has never produced traitors or Akatsuki members so that's a no go for him as well.
Ps. According to thw databook Kumo has the strongest military and economy of the 5 nations.

Keep dreaming it was kumogakure who threatened all out war and Konoha capitulated. Also konoha was weak after the 3rd war and didn't have stomach for a 4th. Whereas the cloud had the strongest economy and miltary of the 5 nations (4th databook). Konoha wouldn't make it in. With the Uchiha at odds and Minato dead konoha would've lost low difficulty.

Babies would likely be taken from her to not allow attachment so she can concentrate on the next 1.
