"Good. Now, before we continue, it is time to commune with Genki. Gaidar here is a close companion who I met atop the mountain while training under Amaimon." Alexander motioned toward Gaidar and then the mountain top. "You may seek a companion for yourself, if you wish."

For this part detail your personal Genki. If you don't want a personal Genki then you can just tell me that. But be detailed in your description for it is something that goes into your bio.
A companion for myself, huh?

Danny rubs his chin thinking of what his companion could possibly be. A grin came across his face, the prospect of using one of his enemies locked away in the ghost zone as his own servant was glorious. Though mid way through this thought he remembered one particular creature he always had trouble keeping locked away, though enjoyed having around.

Danny began concentrating on connecting with the spiritual world, and sacrificed chakra to call forth this particular companion to be. Putting his fingers to his mouth, Danny let out a loud whistle. Moments later the ethereal being that would become Danny's partner burst into this world.

Cujo! Danny said both excitedly and nervously, knowing the trouble this pup had caused him previously. Though without even taking note of Danny, Cujo immediately set off towards Gaidar. :]

Hey! I wanted to take out the raccoon!

Alexander smiled. Meeting one's own companion was always a nice experience :)|). "Good. So, just so you are clear on the issue Cujo is simply a generic Genki. Perhaps over time he will change to become something more, however. He can act as a second set of eyes and means of communication on the battlefield. But you should be wary of having him close by when in combat with a fellow House member. Despite being your close companion he is just as susceptible to manipulation as Gaidar here. Now, you're going to perform an infusion with Cujo shortly. But before we begin let's go back to talking about infusions. Earlier in our review we mentioned them briefly. What is a partial infusion?"

''Then we've got Partial infusion. Partial infusion falls under the category of possession, however as you may have guessed, as the name indicates - It is only partial. This ability allows you to take certain, or perhaps supplementary abilities only from your aiding Genki. This can vary from as previously mentioned by some of you, 'Foresight' or 'Aura Sensing'. This can be proved dangerously powerful if used properly. The previous mentioned abilties pertains all Genki, while there is a vast sea of abilities out there that differs between each and all of the Genki.''

Gobi Gobletsson. 2016. [CC] Katsuryoku, p1.
Well from what we spoke about, and recalling on what Gobi mentioned during my training with him, it is the process of 'fusing' with genki. Partial infusion, as the name would imply is only...partial. So this would mean that abilities aren't at their maximum capacity or there are a different set of skill that are unobtainable while only using a partial infusion. From what I understand we can also call upon different genki and each will grant differing abilities while undergoing a partial infusion. I also believe the process can be used to counteract genjutsu, correct?

"Fusing is perhaps a crude word for the process. But it certainly captures the essence of the concept. It is more of a union. A partnership. In the case of partial infusions a Genki will lend us their powers. All generic Genki have similar abilities which we gain access to during this partial infusion. Let's discuss them. It is important to intimately understand each of these because they are extremely potent. You are correct that it is a means to counteract illusionary techniques. But before we get there..." Alexander shuffles through his tunic to find a scroll sealed with the sigil of House Katsuryoku. Drawing it out he breaks the wax sealed parchment. "Tell me, Danny, what is the nature of knowledge? How do humans possess knowledge?"

Danny looked on, puzzled. Alexander was putting a lot of faith in him to be able to understand some thing this complex.

Uuhhhh... the..nature ..of knowledge?

Danny was at a loss for words, unable to identify an answer to the question. Though he continued with the second.

Humans possess knowledge through experience, I suppose. The conviction that we talked about earlier for example, all comes together to form the basis of a humans knowledge. Of course we are also taught from a young age, and fed various amounts of knowledge from the people we surround ourself with. It's part of what makes an individual

"The nature of knowledge is far more simple than you let yourself believe. It is simply what it truly means to know. I know that ice cools drinks. But how? It is the how that determines if one truly knows. I know that ice cools drinks because the ice absorbs heat from the drink, thus cooling it. It is that knowing that is knowledge. It is a philosophical question. Now...I am glad you brought up this point on experience. That is certainly one way one obtains knowledge. I know that I will feel pain if I stab myself with a needle because it is learned through experience and from those around us. There is also the collective human experience. I learn from things that have happened thousands of years ago. The past. History. Things are recorded in books for that purpose. So as a human we are able to gather knowledge in the present through our five senses and with those around us. And we also gain knowledge from the collective understanding of the past. For an average human this is their limit. Yet...Genki possess something else. And we gain access to it when we engage in infusion with them - precognition. The ability to know the future. What do you think that entails exactly?"

Seems...simple enough.

Precognition, huh? Well i'd imagine that during the basis of our fights, which is when we would use the partial infusion it can give us an advantage. By utilising this it allows member of the House to metagame see what would occur in the future within the fight. By knowing this we can both prepare for what is to come, or prevent it through our own actions prior to it happening. It can also reveal information about an opponent without it having to happen in real time because we have seen it using the ability.

"Exactly. So, we gain access to this particular ability when under the effects of a Partial or Fullbody Infusion. It is used passively as well. There's a lot of versatility when it comes to using this ability as well being able to look into the future to see your opponent using their own skills and such. Revealing the nature of their abilities quite easily. In another sense this ability also allows us to see every possible outcome. It is akin to walking on a road which then diverges into numerous different paths. We become able to see down each path and choose which to go down. Make sense?"

"Okay. Moving forward. Our spiritual awareness is empowered when we infuse with Genki. In a sense our awareness reaches a new height. Through the Katsuryoku blood ritual you became aware of spiritual energy and beings around you. You can sense souls essentially. Once we engage in a Partial Infusion with our Genki this elevates to what is called Aura Sensing. We become aware of those around us on a much higher level able to not only sense their souls but also their emotions. We sense anger, love, shock, confusion, disgust, etc. But it goes beyond sensing. We become quite literally able to see these emotions as an aura around someone's entity. Right. I think it is nearly time for you to infuse with Cujo. Do you have any questions before we proceed?"

Right, give me a short summary of what happened so far?
Wew it's been a while. I'll do this OOC for now.

So when Drackos took over we spent some time going over the three types of infusion. After discussing the things I was unclear of, we moved into learning Hel's Alignmnent and the nature of the technique. Once again, after discussing some questions I had on the jutsu we moved onto summoning my own genki partner. We then further discussed the nature of infusion, particularly partial and the abilities that are gained from doing so, like precognition. I then went afk.

Im not sure if you wanted specifics, but I read back over the whole thread and just generally summarised what happened.

Brilliant. Well, analyze the technique and give me your thoughts, if no questions - Go ahead and perform partial infusion.

(Búri no Yuigon) Δ Testament of Búri

Rank: B-A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20-30(-5/-10 per turn)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Búri no Yugion is technique which is based on the feat of Possession, be it partial or fullbody infusions. The overall infusion process involves the Genki inhabiting the same vessel as the user, wethever or it be fullbody nor only partial. Upon entering the body of a living shell, the Genki would cause a constant chakra spikes throughout the user's system for a turn. This is to create complete unity within the two parties, clearing the user of any foreign chakra-based influx in their system, despite rank and power. Normally this would cause the inability to mold chakra after the emergence and for the rest of the turn. However upon reaching a certain height of mastery within the art(Katsuryoku Pledged and above) one completely nullify said side-effect. This goes for both infusions.
Partial B-ranked| Partial infusion is not the spirit taking over the body of the user but lending their powers to him/her to be used in battle which is mainly a supplementary use. Supplementary uses include a variety of things however, for a partial infusion only one can be used at a time, while with a fullbody infusion all will be available. These abilities are more accurately defined below and both runs passively upon infusion.
Precognition, which literally means acquiring knowledge. Now this is done by other means, than studying a book or listening to a presentation. While by normal means an organisim can only extract information from past to present, precognition does the same, however from the time, that has yet to come. While under the effects given by the Genki, the vessel is enabled to see into the future. In other words, the vessel is giving himself the capability to view all possibly outcomes, and the ability to change the to-be happenings, with another act than the one told in the vision. Lasts one turn, and can only be used 3 times during partial infusions. Can be used 5 times during fullbody infusions.
Aura Sensing, is the ability to view a person (Be it within range of the user's vision or not), however not only their exterior but their interior as well. People oft carry a demeanor around their entity, which becomes visible upon use of this supplementary ability. This interior exudes from the owner which is clad around their entity as a transparent shroud. Depending on the colour, size and aggressiveness in the shroud, the user is able to determine their emotions, such as love, anxiety, excitement, hate, stress, dizzyness, etc. and thereby oft their actions as well. Lasts untill deactivated.
Fullbody A-ranked| This infusion, is where the spirit and host shares one mind. A perfect unity. However, spirits are, if their host is unconscious, able to maintain themselves in control of the shell(The user) and fight in their stead by forcefully manipulating it’s movements accordingly to it’s will, even if its gravely wounded. When completely fused, the user and spirit share their complete memory and knowledge with each other. While fused, genjutsu(besides doujutsu genjutsu) are ineffective against the user.
While under the influence of Testament of Búri, the user gains abilities (Much as Jorth's Personification) that corresponds to their spirit. Both infusions are both with a certain risk. Extended usages may cause the user to become exhausted, and or run low on chakra, as the spirits will be sheltering within the host’s body, and feed on the energies, be it foreign or not.
Both infusion of course carry limitations in their uses, however depends and varies from rank to rank within the art of the House. An outline, and usage for the generic spirits roaming the fields;
Partial uses per battle: Katsuryoku Apprentice (1) Katsuryoku Initiate (2), Katsuryoku Pledged (3), Katsuryoku Elder (4), Katsuryoku Voice (5).
Fullbody per battle duration: Katsuryoku Initiate (1), Katsuryoku Pledged (2), Katsuryoku Elder (4), Katsuryoku Voice (5). Can only be used twice per battle.
These of course also counts for submitted techniques, unless it specifically is bounded by other restrictions given in submission in question

The jutsu aligns itself with the basis of using infusion, both impartial and full body. Naturally, each of the respective infusion types grants the user different abilities, which full body granting a higher scope. The merging removes foreign substances, and thus can break genjutsu of all ranks. The ranking of a Katsuryoku member determines if they are capable of molding chakra during the same turn.

Abilities like precognition allow the user to see the possible events in the future and change them to suit the current situation. While Aura sensing allows the user to perceive emotions indicated by coloured shrouds. Full body also allows the genki to forcefully control a user despite their physical conditions if needed. Additionally, genjutsu with the exception of visual genjutsu is ineffective during the infusion. Limitations rely on Katsu rank and the constant chakra drainage.

Questions

What is the extent of "Foreign chakra based influx"? For example, would paralysis via nagashi be overcome?
And would a genki be able to forcefully move a shell that is paralysed with full body active.

Does Precognition need to be mentioned in the turn you're using it in to give yourself the advantage, or is it the turn before? For example, you use a jutsu i cant see so in my next turn i use the precognition as foresight and react to it. Is that how I would use it?

Acknowledging the jutsu, Danny summons his personal genki, Cujo to learn the infusions. Cujo begins merging with Danny, at which point Danny begins to fluctuate his chakra, focusing on aligning it with Cujo. The process is slow because the pair take their time to achieve the correct balance and timing. There comes a point where an aura appears around Danny's teacher - a sign of the Aura sensing ability granted through a successful partial infusion. Once achieved, the pair continue to fluctuate and connect, aiming towards a full body infusion. Following the same slow process, Cujo's own excitement causes Danny to jump excitedly, caused by the genki's manipulation over the body it is residing in, indicating a completed full body infusion.

Simple note, Visual Genjutsu could mean alot. It can only be affected by Dojutsus, such as Sharingan and associated Genjutsus.

Well, it technically rids you off all foreign chakra, mainly aimed to get rid of Genjutsu. But essentially Nagashi hits you, and you're numb due the after effects, but Nagashi in itself, is not 'in' your body, so no it won't affect Nagashi.
Yes, the Genki can even move broken limbs, passed out hosts. You just can't be dead.

You use it in the turn you want its effect. A uses an invisible fireball. B. uses Precognition(Because he can), and foresees any possible future event and which one would prove most succesful he goes by.

Which techniques do you want to learn next? I have taught you Hel and Jorth so far, right?

Thanks for clearing that up.

I haven't learnt Jorth yet, so may as well learn that now!

While you've learnt to infuse with your Genki. It's time that you learn and infuse it into other objects, such as your boots, weaponry or other inanimate objects or even organic ones, such as the earth, terrain, etc. When infused the objects infused become malleable and bend according to your Genki, and your Genki bends accordingly to your commands.

Interesting. If a terrain takes is covered in snow or ice, for the sake of the question i'll call it ice, and a genki infuses itself with the terrain would the construct pertain to the weaknesses and strengths of the element? Or would it simply be the strength of the genki that has infused itself with it?

Also what features or abilities would be acquired through infusing your boots or weaponry as you mentioned? Is it dependant on the item, or is there a wide range of abilities that can be used through the process?

Danny uses his link to the spirit world and, using a portion of his chakra summons forth a genki. Through a command, the genki is instructed to infuse itself into a nearby boulder. The genki uses its natural ability to enter within structure and release its presence through out it. Having undertaken the process, the bolder rises as per Danny's command and while moving through the air, undergoes several changes as the structure itself changes to suit the images Danny is conveying to the genki.

I would say yes, but as it it states in the technique itself - It pertains the strength of the Genki. Say, you're infusing a F-ranked Genki into an object, the object becomes F-rank. While I would say it carry the properties of Ice in this example, it can be argued otherwise - Cause, gray area, not really stated whether or not in the technique. But I say it would.

(Keshin no Jorth) Δ Jorth's Personification

Rank: C-A
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 15-30 (-10 per turn to sustain)
Damage points: 30-60
Description: Keshin no Jorth, is a technique developed in the House of Katsuryoku, and only accessable by Katsuryoku Initiate(C-rank) and higher ranked(A-rank). The technique takes exit in the usage of 'Object Infusion'. Oft through the use of a hand gesture which is purely cosmetic, the user is capable of drawing forth any Genki(s) within the area, be it 'special summoned' or not, and forcefully infuse them into an object(s). An object could be anything ranging from a lump of earth turning into a deformed monstrosity, to a snowman. The most common however have proved to be the shapes of animal-like creatures of the patch of inaminate objects infused. This however is not only limited to solids, per say, aslong as it carries a substance such as water. Once infused, the object in question would gain reasonable enhancements from said Genki, while the most generic will simply be shrouded in an essence of ethereal energy, a coat if you will. The Genki's most fundamental traits carry and is still viable during infusion of objects, such as to not be affected by some of the fundamental forces namely gravity and kinetic forces (as per the clan's submission). This, however, is valid for the ethereal coat surrounding and binding the object, not the object itself. The resistance and strength of the object will be bound by the strength of the Genki called (and thus the chakra spent) in direct proportion. An object infused with a B-Rank Genki will have a B-rank strength. The Genki while partially affected by Chakra itself, is capable of being infused into objects containing chakra of one rank below, such as B-ranked Earth if the A-ranked version of this technique is used.
Note: Infusion lasts while sustained.

And tell me what you can get out of infusing weaponry, items, etc. Now that you asked. =]

So the shroud of ethereal energy that is produced allows the object to defy fundamental forces. So basically it lets the user fly it its done on their person, or rather their boots. A sword or other objects would be interesting. If you set up a scenario where a loose sword is in play and you used the jutsu outside of your opponents sight, they couldn't sense or hear it coming.

Was there anything I missed?
