So do you think there's an MS ability that acts as a progression for copy technique ?



Maybe Sarada who is a reference to the Hindu goddess of knowledge might be the one to unlock an MS with unrestricted Copy jutsu. Her goal is to surpass the Kage with every element KKG after all...

Madara had Limbo clones bec he had the desire to exist somewhere else at a different time, in a separate space. His regrets that he didn't live long enough to realize his dream manifested in his limbo clones.
Sasuke had Ameno bec he had the desire to be in the right places at the right time at all times. His ambition to catch up to Itachi at the soonest possible time manifested in his Ameno..

That is my theory.

Edit. Ameno requires the shifting with /replacement to an object. Sasuke would sacrifice anything to hasten and exact his vengeance and purpose.

Their personalities determine what abilities they awaken but the abilities are related to Uchiha traits.


You could also argue the experiences the user's faced before awakening MS determines what power they awaken.

I.e : Obito's Kamui would've been useful to saving Rin and avoiding the boulder, Amaterasu is usefull for Sasuke destroying any obsacle in his path and Tsukuyomi would've allowed Itachi to break the will of corrupt leaders without killing them.

This point of view came to my mind when Obito awaken Kamui.He thought he was in hell, a dimension where everything is bad, and he gained the ability to go into another dimension, to escape from hell.
I like this idea that they gain what they truly want/need.

Ehh my opinion on ms is that you get two abilities that stay the same through families.

Ex: Itachi and sasuke are brothers and have the same powers, itachi being better at genjutsu and sasuke having better ama

Obito has no living relatives and is the only one with kamui, this is the same for itachis best friend with ka

And of course we never saw either of madara ms abilities as he loves susanno lol
