Aw no poor baby!
Don't worry, you'll learn one day.
I think you should spend less time telling me to read and more time reading my posts a little better. I never said you didn't want to see the fight. I said how your claim about it being a waste of time was ignorant. Yes, I did use the world correctly as you claiming that 2 of the most important people in the marines squaring off would be a "waste of time" is damn retarded.
Riiiight.. because you know One Piece so well to make this bold statement. How do you know what would be better for One Piece? Your bias on certain things deludes you into thinking that an adventure based manga with story building and overused humor can't focus on fights once in awhile, and is why you are failing to understand any other angles for how this manga could happen would also be a good thing and better writing.
I am not dismissing world building(in fact, I have already defended and supported this), but when you have more wasted panels on overused humor and stale bickering when you could be focusing on much better things, yes I have an issue.
I am not looking to get into a discussion about how you think One Piece is better than other shounen so irdc.
The fact that you think showing pages on how one of the most hyped up battles went wouldn't help the story is a little bit unusual. If Oda actually chooses never to go back to how this fight went then we will never know how Aokiji lost, so how exactly is actually showing the fight and how it played out not beneficial for the story? You think showing whole chapters on an awesome fight would ruin OP? You are just being simple minded, stuck in your small little bubble.
Well it's quite obvious you know nothing about this story as seeing that fight would not just add action. Just hyping up fights and never showing them is not a good thing.
For someone who tries to come off as this big bad smartass kid, you sure do make a lot of dumb posts.
It is quite different as the fights pre-skip were more dramatic and center focused. Luffy would always defeat or beat the main villain in the end and we would get the others to fight people of lesser power but it was still be organized. What we got in Punk Hazard was Luffy running around and getting ***** slapped by Ceasar. Fishman Island was ass. Dressrosa has been the only decent arc so far, and this thing with whole cake island is all over the place.
If I didn't have patience then I would have dropped this manga years ago.
What I have seen reoccurring in this cancerous fanbase is that it's so easy for people to start crying and moaning when someone criticizes this manga and points out a few things, but you guys are too ignorant and foolish to actually notice when there are flaws and inconsistencies in your favorite manga. This is what we call ignorant fanboys. Great job!
