No, I wasn't being serious with what I said, I sure was being sarcastic but in a different way than what you think it is; If I want to criticize someone, I do it by quoting the guy I wanted to criticize or at least, I do it directly in a more understandable way. I've no reason to criticize someone and then pretend like I didn't!

At the time, we didn't have any feats from Katakuri and didn't know what any of his powers were(we only knew about his Haki and saw him kill that one guy).

You're getting chewed out because you failed to realize that getting a billion+ bounty is a feat. You don't get a bounty that high by being anywhere close to Sanji in terms of strength. Why do you think that Pre-TS Luffy's highest bounty was only 400 million, even though he was the son of the most dangerous criminal and he had defeated Crocodile, defeated the strongest person in the strongest incarnation of CP9, destroyed Enies Lobby, defeated Gekko Moriah, knock out a Celestial Dragon, break out hundreds of criminals from the legendary Impel Down, and almost ruin the WG's plan to execute Ace? I doubt that the likes of Tamago did anywhere near that much stuff against the WG.

Also, Aokiji said that bounties are determined by not only strength, but also threat level, which means that threat level AND strength play a role in bounties (not just threat level).

Sure, but until today, we didn't get confirmation that Katakuri's feat of getting that bounty was directly correlated to his strength. Chewing someone out for not saying something 6 months ago when the knowledge to make that statement only came out today is stupid.

That's a really weird thing y'all have going in the OP fandom, where you think that guessing something without the information to make that guess, and happening to get that info later, means you did something right. Funny how most of the people rn gloating that they happened to guess correctly that Katakuri's bounty made him the strongest Commander were silent after guessing that Katakuri would ruin the assassination plot, and he failed to do so.

You kinda contradict yourself here. You list all of those feats of power that Luffy did, that Kid did nothing close to as far as we know, and Kid still ended up with the higher bounty because he posed a bigger threat to the world than Luffy.

Luffy being the son of Dragon meant he had the highest potential of all of the Supernova, but he wasn't as much of an active danger as Kid was because Kid went out of his way to hurt innocent people. Bounties aren't as cut and dry as "You're stronger, you did bad shit, here's a high bounty," which your post signifies.

Someone with a bounty at 1,000,000,000 is obviously powerful, but it doesn't automatically mean they're more powerful than someone at 700,000,000. For Katakuri, that turns out to be the case, but there was no info to suggest that 6 months ago. Yeah sure we could never be literally 100% certain that Katakuri would be that strong, but the odds of someone with his bounty being Sanji level was so low that it could be ignored. If Oda told you that Katakuri had a 99.99% chance of being Marco level, would you go around acting like there's a reasonable chance that Sanji could beat him?

How does what I said about Luffy contradict what I said earlier? All of those actions that Luffy committed should give him a much greater threat level to the WG than Tamago, but Luffy still had a bounty lower than Tamago's, with the likely reason being that the WG knew that Pre-TS Luffy was too weak to earn a bounty higher than Tamago's.

Yes there were people that said that Katakuri would be solely responsible for ruining the assassination plan, but the odds of that happening were much lower than the odds of Katakuri losing to Sanji and it was actually arguable to a reasonable extent.
