The Hyuga Cast System is such a major plot point for the Hyuga Clan and Byakugan, it MUST be brought up in relation to Bolt.

One of the most uncanny and mysterious things that has been left unanswered to this very day in the Naruto series is the fact that the Hyuga seem to actually be very much aware of their celestial origins, unlike the other descendants of Kaguya like the Uchiha and Senju, as we saw that VIZ scan of Hiashi referring to the Hyuga as having celestial blood.

Not only that, what also always bugged me was why on Earth the Hyuga would go to such great lengths to protect the Byakugan. Like, they legit refer to a thing known as the “Secrets of the Byakugan” and how they need to protect the revelation of its abilities to outsiders. So what are these secrets? What are they hiding? What the hell do they know? And what is this talk of “Advanced Blood”?

It’s almost like they’re referring to themselves as a different race when they say they have advanced blood, just like how Momoshiki referred to Naruto and Sasuke as an inferior species. It’s like they KNOW they’re not human, because unlike Hagoromo’s descendants, Hamura’s descendants, the Hyuga and Ootsutsuki, all seem to STILL be aliens and not humans like what Indra and Ashura ended up becoming through interbreeding. I say this because both branches of Hamura’s children posses the Byakugan, a clear trait among the Aliens as seen in Kaguya and Momoshiki. Even in The Last, we seem some hints of Hiashi being aware of the Ootsutsuki's existence.

If Kishimoto will actually address these plot points and hints of the Hyuga being aliens he's left dangling for the past 600 Chapters, we could see some amazing stories and revelations from Hiashi, maybe as to why the Byakugan was so heavily gaurded and why they're aware of their celestial origins. It could provide so much story potential for Bolt, Hima, Hinata, Hiashi, and Hanabi. And if Mitsuki truly is an Ootsutuski clone, that would only further increase such a great plot line.

"Kishimoto says that in this way Neji sort of took on the role of cupid for the two of them. He then explains that it was at this time when Kishimoto came up with the name of ‘Bolt’ for their son, which has a similar meaning to ‘Neji’ (screw), as a homage to the late uncle who brought his parents together. Kishimoto says that ‘if’ there is a manga about Bolt (it wasn’t confirmed by this point), he wants to include scenes focusing on Neji."

Good stuff. :cool: We may very well see flashbacks of Neji and Hinata.

Yea thats exactly my thought; we're supposed to see Hinata vs Momoshiki fight but that was skipped over even when the manga has the opportunity to showcase it; it's as if they are hiding away the hyuga true potential because I won't doubt if they are going back through flashback to see Hinata true color. Speaking of which; we also have to keep in mind that we have never seen the full potential of Hinata even when she obtain Hamura chakra aside to her role in destroying the Tenseigan; it was never fully displayed when she only aided Naruto to supply her chakra probably because she isn't used to accustomed it or ofc "plot"

Another factor you have to keep in mind is the Twin Lion Fist that was also never used in the fullest. Every-time Hinata unleases it; it was never once have the opportunity to showcase it once Hinata made physical contact.

Here what it said in the databook:

A secret high-level juuken technique, taught only to the main family of the Hyuuga clan. By changing the shape of chakra released from both hands, [the user] greatly increases reach and destructive power. The arms become entirely like lions which drain the chakra network of those they touch.

Because it will fail at even the slightest mistake in chakra control, it is extremely difficult to learn this ability, which is a feat that requires the Byakugan.


Aside from shutting Chakra network We've also learned that it increases destructive power while also giving the attribute of absorbing chakra; perhaps Hinata will eventually reveal her true color and might play important key factor to Boruto and Himawari.

Cool when does this interview took place? Yes I remember someone showed me Road to Boruto when Himawari went to Neji grave and Hinata made some story with her two children about Neji and how he's a better shinobi than Naruto when he beat Naruto Sage mode during training session even though it's a flippin game; I won't be surprised if something like this happen in the anime.

I doubt we'll go back to the Hinata VS Momoshiki fight, but I would definitely be happy if we did and saw her kicking butt. Maybe Momoshiki would have even said some interesting things to her about the Byakugan/Ootsutsuki.

If Hinata does get a legit fight, we're bond to see it along with any of her other skills. What we need is to see the destructive force behind it really, and how exactly its chakra absorbing ability works.

Still, kinda pathetic that poor Neji has to be hyped by a video game as being on par with Sage Naruto, though I do personally thinkk he stands a good chance against him if Sage Naruto is limited to one frog summon at a time, since Neji can just kill it like he did with Kidomaru's spider. I truly hope Kishimoto doesn't go back on his word of having Bolt learn of Neji via flashbacks. It could be our last chance for the guy getting any feats. Heck, they could have an entire flashback arc that takes place before the Pain Invasion with Hinata, Neji, and Naruto in order to give Neji feats and to give actual build up to Hinata's confession.

There was a filler about Neji's mom's death. If that was the case wouldn't there be a filler about Hinata's mom death? Maybe we'll see her who knows?
