the hadith are part of islam. they still make those claims abd believe in them

islam is in no position to make scientific claims whatsoever. and quoting your holy book doesnt give you evidence.

how to be lagrim:
-be biased
-not know what rekt means
-ignore provided facts
-repeat

Why is islam in no position to make scientific claims? What's wrong with the claims?

Correct my information if I'm wrong.

The difference between atheist and religious is faith. A faith is something you hold on and believe in. An atheist believes in nothing. His/her existence in this world is numbered, and after he/she die, it's over. Do atheists have faith?

Remember that I'm asking to understand what is atheism.

Everyone has faith in something. It's just that often it's faith without substance. Exemple : The evolutionist is a person of tremendous faith. How can one say they believe in so many things that no one has ever seen without having faith? The big bang? FAITH. Transitions from particles to plants, pandas and people? FAITH. Planets forming from exploded star balls? FAITH. Brains to contemplate it all evolving on their own with no direction? You got it: FAITH. That's why a couple of guys wrote a book entitled, 'I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be An Atheist'. Because the atheist has perhaps the most faith of all.

That's right. hadith is considered as the 2nd source after Quran. By the way I'm Muslim sunni. Anyway, back to the subject.

DID YOU KNOW that Quran took 23 years to be complete?
DID YOU KNOW that Quran is over 1300 years old and been saved?
DID YOU KNOW that Quran tell stories?
DID YOU KNOW that science and information such as mathematics, biology, chemistry, grammar and geography can be found in God's words in the Quran that you don't understand it?

Al-An'am, Versa 125

"So whoever God wants to guide - He expands his chest to [contain] Islam; and whoever He wants to misguide - He makes his chest tight and constricted as though he were climbing into the sky."

What this versa says if God wants to guide a human to the right path, the right way, the human will feel like he can breath with ease and comfort. If God wants to misguide the human, the human will feel hard to breath as if the human goes up the sky. By the way, this is my wording it. If you check more sources, they explain better than mine.

Now in science, it is known that the higher you go up the sky, the harder you can breath.

I guess, some people just want to have something to believe in and think there is something more to this world.

dude... youre just embarassing yourself. its funny how i always have to educate muslims about their own holy book

:Muslims believe that the Qur'an contains a message from an all-powerful, all-knowing, infallible being. If this is true then it should not contain any errors, mistakes, or information that contradicts known facts about the universe. If even one error exists in the text of Islam's holy book then the claims of divine authorship and infallibility are not true. An objective evaluation of the Qur’an shows that it contains numerous scientific and historical errors and it reflects a pre-scientific, 7th century view of the natural world.

"Some will contest these numerous scientific errors in the Qur'an by appealing to metaphor, alternative meanings, or phenomenological interpretations of the text. Even if we suppose that alternative explanations were possible in every case, the wording and content of the Qur'anic verses often mimic the popular mythology and unscientific misconceptions of the time in which they were recorded. The author of the Qur’an makes no obvious statements that differentiate his understanding of the natural world from the common folklore of the people living in the 7th century. If the Qur’an was delivered by an all-powerful, all-knowing being then he would have been able to foresee how such ambiguous and misleading statements would be understood by future generations and the doubts and confusions they would cause. This alone should be reason enough to reject any claims to its divine authorship."

please i dare you click the source below and tell me everything written there is wrong.

but of course, like all religtards youre gonna ignore/deny/dodge this fact right? let me quess? wrong translation? wrong intepretation? out of context? any other excuse? cause faith>reason and faith>evidence right? give me a break.

wow... I'm sure wasting time with you. You just gave me a Wiki link expecting me to read it. Scientific Errors in the Quran? Could you give me one example error instead of throwing me a link that I'm gonna take a day to read and you might expect me to run away a debate while I'm... you know... reading that link.

It's quite funny that you claim you're educating someone on their own holy book, given that just a few posts above you've made claims about the Quran that are not even in there...Besides, you have zero thought of your own, you always only regurgitate memes and now, repost an article...which by the way doesn't even refute the specific example Luffy was talking about...

LOL First you guess he'll ignore/deny/dodge these, then you guess he'll come up with explanations which you call 'excuses'. Contradiction much? See, it's you ignoring facts and reason, as whatever he says, you're already dismissing it in advance as an 'excuse'. You render any reasonable discourse void. Plus, I can also just link you to apologetic sites which deal with the rebuttal to every single claim wikiislam makes.
And yeah, it's often just a matter of translation or interpretation, you denying and ignoring the importance of translation and interpretation doesn't make them any less relevant. Also, it's exactly by using reason that one can interpret a text so your formula is expressing a false dilemma.
