Some people who are atheist are sure that there is no God unless God appears before their eyes. If that happened.
Eh isn't it the same case as many religious people being fine with god never appearing before their eyesSome people who are atheist are sure that there is no God unless God appears before their eyes. If that happened.
Correct my information if I'm wrong.Eh isn't it the same case as many religious people being fine with god never appearing before their eyes
Correct my information if I'm wrong.
The difference between atheist and religious is faith. A faith is something you hold on and believe in. An atheist believes in nothing. His existence in this world is numbered, and after they die, it's over. Do atheists have faith?
Remember that I'm asking to understand what is atheism.
The correct wording should be faith in God.Correct my information if I'm wrong.

Doubt i am a correct person since i myself visit religious places once a week with my friendsRemember that I'm asking to understand what is atheism.
Didn't I say correct my information if I'm wrong? Define faith by your understanding and tell me if atheists believe in anything. Teach me. Inform me. Let me understand what you believe in. Someone asks why am I religious, I would ask them the same. Why you are not religious.Who are you to have a say in other people's lives?

What about all the people who swore to either saw heaven or hell after dying then coming back? Besides, what if I'm right on the topic of heaven or hell and you're wrong?
If I'm wrong, nothing will happen. But what if you're wrong?

near death experiences are easily explained, since near death a lot of hormons are emitted into the brain and you start to hallucinate, kinda like on drugs, so there goes your argument.
and as for your other response:

Your information is wrong. The difference between atheism and religion is god. Faith has little to do with it. The only reason why you are using the word faith to separate the two is because you need it to stay committed to your god, but that does not automatically mean that atheists don't have faith in anything. They just don't have faith in your gods.
Atheists are not people who believe in nothing. They are people who don't believe in the existence of gods, like I said earlier. Why is it so important to have faith in a god anyway, and if you don't it is seen as a bad thing? You assume that just because you are religious, and have your faith(which means having strong belief in your god based on your spiritual fear, rather than proof), that atheists are absolutely empty and don't have faith in anything, which by default is quite silly since atheists only have disbelief and lack of faith in just your gods and any type of gods.
It's also funny how you say that atheists lives are numbered and after they die, it's over, as if you have some kind of knowledge that separates you from the supposed "atheists" or other people on earth who don't have faith in god after they die that makes you impervious, or maybe you are so addicted to the thought of living after you die that you have become so accustomed and arrogant into believing that you will have a safehaven after you die. You make it sound as if someone who lives on earth can't just live their life without believing or having faith in god, and that they are making the wrong decision and yours is better.
*Not knowing if something exists and not caring if something exists is a much more comfortable position than trying to believe that something exists and then when you die, you still don't know. I rather die knowing that I lived my life rather than dying trying to please a god that I have no knowledge or proof if it even exists.
Most people have different NDEs. Most likely, because they're full of BS.Its funny you claim to be someone from science but you understand little when you are dying your body begins to shut down from the lesser organs to the major organs and as that is happening where per say would you say these hormones are made especally when a persons heart and brain are effectively dead and there is no blood flowing for such images

Far from it. It never crossed my mind to judge non-religious person as a bad person.Dannie said:Atheists are not people who believe in nothing. 1. I fear my God, so I follow his teaches.Dannie said:You assume that just because you are religious, and have your faith(which means having strong belief in your god based on your spiritual fear, rather than proof), that atheists are absolutely empty and don't have faith in anything, which by default is quite silly since atheists only have disbelief and lack of faith in just your gods and any type of gods.
I'm not even 1% sure where to go with what you're saying. I don't want to be sounds harsh, *******, douchbag etc etc. If I am, so be it. I will accept to be called by others whatever is with big smile on my face. I'm Muslim, but I learned not to throw words into people's face. "You don't believe in Allah? You'll go to HELL!" Believe me! I'm not that kind of person. I rather want an atheist do read, search and ask to get into their goal. I've been taught in school that God created people different in everything, even in their beliefs.Dannie said:It's also funny how you say that atheists lives are numbered and after they die, it's over, as if you have some kind of knowledge that separates you from the supposed "atheists" or other people on earth who don't have faith in god after they die that makes you impervious, or maybe you are so addicted to the thought of living after you die that you have become so accustomed and arrogant into believing that you will have a safehaven after you die.
