Why are you religious?

One reason I am not religious is because the rules constantly change. Through out history, the rules for ascending into heaven become more convenient for the current society. There are even sub categories of the faith in Christ like being a Catholic. A good chunk of Christians agree that Jesus was Jewish so aren't they Jewish? Why do they still make fun of Jews? Why do Christians believe that Buddhists, Shintoist, Hinduism, Muslims etc. are doomed to eternal suffering because they believe in something different? So if someone is born under a Buddhist family & RAISED to be a Buddhist, god will punish them? That is incredibly ruthless and unfair.

Some churches(like the one I used to go to), believes that going to the damn movie theater is a sin....if I dare ask why, I get blank stares and people(strangers) trying to hold me down in order to put oil on my forehead. I of course got violent and haven't been to that crackhouse of a church since.

Ummm i am christain and a catholic at that and last i checked there was always the Ten Commandments and that church you went to was full of bs and i will be the first to say i go to movie theaters all the time

I am agnostic , weather there is creator for this world or not , I don't care , I am going to die in the end , and I don't believe in afterlife ,

ya' know , when I used to be religious , I saw the life from a religious point of view , that we all exist by the God and for the God , but I after I realized that is all BS , I just wonder and asking myself this endless question "why ?" , just how and why do we exist ?

usually the answer is God , but what if there is no God , then what ? ,

when I used to be religious , I used to follow the religious simple way of thinking , that we have just to pray for the God , and in the afterlife we either go to Heaven or Hell , but after I realized that it is also BS , I don't care of the life anymore , because what if I died ? , what that would change ? , just why do we exist in the first place ? for what reason ?

Personally I'm not religious. Religion is just a way of explaining things when people knew little, I mean these things were written thousands of years ago...our morals and views have definitely evolved since then. Fundamentally religion is far too archaic to flourish without regressing modern society

i dont worry about it much honestly. i also dont believe it plays that big of a role in our lives as most religious people do. ive asked myself the tough questions and gathered enough info from non believers and believers. it just makes more sense to me there is one rather than not
