[Discussion] At this point what can Luffy do to be stronger

Seems he's reached ceiling of his devil fruit power he's mastered his haki abilities. I think at this point for him to be stronger he'll need a new devil fruit ability like black beard.

What is left for Luffy to do to get stronger.

GOMU-GOMU no Mi Awakening is one thing we cling on as our hope to see Luffy develop a bit. Probably Vegapunk might help him. This man been mentioned since 2007 and it's been a DECADE. The more Oda delays his appearance, the more bigger it gets around this man.

I'm thinking there's more to Conqueror's Haki than we currently know. Don't know what extent it would go to but it seems to be Shanks' niche along with his sword. Can't imagine the rarest form of Haki's only plus is knocking out fodders.

Also he's got the awakening thing. Producing rubber or turning things into rubber is interesting idea but I really dont have a clue what direction he plans on going for the awakening of a Rubber Man.

He's increased his bone, muscle and blood flow but not his brain.

1. Awaken his devil fruit so that it will increase his powers and stamina to finally place him above yonkou 1st mate commander level
2. Improve his Kings Haki
3. Improve his Buso Haki duration, he can't be gassing out every time he fights in G4 (wano arc will help i think)
4. Be able to use the voice of all things

He's got quite a way to go. He might have G4 transformations that we don't even know yet since he's simulating the powers of the Chinese deity Sun Wukong's powers

Unfortunately for Luffy, the quest to obtain OP was timed and he failed to make it on time, as such, a new Hero has to come forth and inherit the 5 Gum fruit and restart the mission and make it on time. I think Oda should come up with a way to kill off most of the straw hats in the next arc or two, and start fresh with a new crew of real Pirates this time around.
