I ran a mile and now i feel like shit.
Nah that's not an appropriate way to tell if you're out of shape. Even with good health if you haven't exercised in a while and suddenly you decide to run a mile it'll take a toll on your body healthy or not, body has to get use to that burn/pain again.
There are different kinds of exercise.
You could look like 80s Arnold Schwarzenegger and still lose your breath after running a mile.
And someone that could run 10 miles might not be able to do 10 pull-ups.
Core exercise is not the same as bodybuilding exercise.
And bodybuilding exercise is not the same as strength training.
Even with that said, you could put 100% in your workout routine and still be obese. It all depends on your diet. If you eat more than you burn off, then you'll be fat.
i wanna get some form of shape by christmas so i looked it up and they said to run and do crunches.
didn't get around to the crunches today
Depends on how often you stopped to run the mile. If you kept up your pace you definitely have good cardio. Try to push your body to run a mile without breathing through your mouthe the entire way. I think 7 - 9 minute mile is a good time.
Personally I only run a quarter mile before my workout just to warm me up. I have done the cardio route before when I was younger and I regret it. Lifting is much better then cardio in almost all aspects. Not only is it much more healthy but you will look much better, it really tones you. Too much cardio is not needed. Good luck!
Just check if your weight matches your height, if it doesn't then you should lose weight.
I'll run 50 meters and sleep for 3 days, smoking ****s one up.
