No, it's the hearts he obtained through fallen shinobi that enables him to utilize such high caliber ninjutsu. The only necessary step Kakuzu has to take in order to take advantage of them is by running his chakra through these hearts. With Jiongu, he's not diverting his chakra through those masks, so I'm not sure how he'd use those elements with the threads acting as a medium.

He runs his chakra through the element in which he so chooses then runs said chakra over the threads :lol obviously the mask would have to be in his body but that doesn't really matter if thats what your whole argument was here....

I never heard of this website. I used scans here and mangapanda (back when Naruto was still active).

Why are people still requesting viz scans till this day if this was so open/common lol?

It's not common in the Naruto community I guess, but if you frequent One Piece forums and the One Piece section, this is old news. Over there if you bring a panel from mangapanda nobody will even look at it lol.

No, we're given a visual representation of how he accomplishes it and each of these masks are used as a medium for his jutsu. The only element he'd able to use through his threads is Doton and that's because it's an element that he's mastered personally.

I think KG discovered it yesterday. It's pretty neat, but in all honesty, having Viz Translations aren't too important considering NF has a Viz Clear Up Thread, but it's still pretty handy.

Yeah, that was way before we all discovered it. Now, I just skim through the Viz Translations when looking back at the manga.
