Oh please. Luffy was running against the clock, but you're telling me he chose to spend 30 mins doing nothing but dodging strings that couldn't seriously harm him? What a load of shit.
I'm not sure if I'd consider Kuma's. He really just pushes things. The effects of his fruit aren't diverse exactly, but what those effects can affect is diverse. Idk, I guess it's how you defend versatile, so it's probably definitely a contender.
He can push air pressure
Use it to teleport
Take out ppls emotions (well pain for now but I don't understand why he wouldn't he be able to take out something other then pain)
Nuke things with pad cannons

How am I downplaying it? By not over exaggerating it? If he cut halfway through Luffy's Kong arm(which is pretty big) less of his sword should be visible, he'd have cut to Luffy's bone and there should be a noticeable gash on Luffy's arm because you know having your arm cut in half is a pretty serious wound. But we don't see any of that, the sword goes in a little less than half way since we can see the center line and Luffy has no problem throwing a Kong Gatling afterwards, how easy do you think that would be with an arm cut in half right above your elbow?
Honestly I think luffy reacted that way (yes he was hurt) because he is literally filled with air and he cannot control himself (movement wise) that's why he clamped down on it because his air would start seeping out
Don't get me wrong it was still a clean and impressive cut etc.
What I'm getting from the latest chapter is that both Doffy and cracker can't take a direct hit from G4's strongest attack bare.
In terms of brute strength G4 is superior. However...
>Cracker's real body cannot take a direct hit but his devil fruit can, and his devil fruit can multiple as much armor as he can to take G4 hits before getting destroyed
>Cracker himself is too weak to take a direct hit from G4 but his haki is strong enough to even cut G4 luffy, which is unseen before.
>Doflamingo himself was able to take 4-5 hits from G4 before ultimately getting knocked out unlike Cracker who's real body probably can't even take one.
>His devil fruit mostly helped him evade severe attacks that would hurt him but none of doffy's attacks including his devil fruit can break/damage luffy's gear 4 armament haki.
>Cracker has a stronger offense and his defense is his devil fruit, real body being his biggest weakness in terms of defense but strongest in terms of offense.
>Doflamingo's real body is stronger in defense but lacks any real strength in offense when it comes to people of Luffy and Cracker's level

Cracker seems much better overall tbh. Cracker has the offense, also has the better CoA, and better defense when using biscuit clones but DD might have more endurance and more versatility.
Both can even stall G4, Cracker with his biscuit clones and DD with awakening. Cracker also caused G4 pain, while DD never did. Also has much stronger clones and a seemingly infinite amount all being SN + lvl.
The fact that you are taking what everyone is saying about the attack so seriously leads me to believe you have some kind of hatred for Cracker. And Cracker cutting into less than half of his arm is kind of what I said in the post you replied to.
If you think I have a hate for Cracker than you haven't been keeping up with other threads, or this one. I've acknowledged his feats, I've said I like him with this new(sasori) reveal. Look we both know what you and the others were trying to insinuate when you said cut his arm in half, but if half way to in half is nearly in half fine whatever, I'll be done with this point if you are. I disagree with your assessment of the damage done by that cut though.
I have, that's why I asked you not refer to actual damage results with one.
The fact of the matter is Cracker managed to cut deeply into G4s arm and it caused Luffy pain, unlike when DD grazed G4s skin with awakening and it did nothing significant, he wasn't in any pain when that happened ergo why its so impressive.

I agree with everything you're saying but Cracker being much better is a bit subjective at this point. Right now the portrayal of Cracker at this point is him being stronger than Doffy but not overwhelmingly when you exploit that one big weakness he has.
Good points overall though.
But his Haki in Gear 4th was said by Law to be using too much haki. Because if we're really gonna discredit Luffy's haki then we should be comparing Hody to Doffy and Cracker since his jaws pierced luffy's haki.
So that's why I said G4 luffy specifically.

And? That can easily mean that sustaining the Haki for such a long period of time is overusing it when compared to covering your fist to deliver a punch and then turning the Haki off once the punch connects.
Luffy said that his Haki was susceptible to cuts because it wasn't strong enough yet, and Doffy's Haki appeared the very same way. It has nothing to do with Hody being as strong as those guys, it has to do with Luffy's Haki being vulnerable to something Hody had at his disposal.

No it clearly doesn't. He said too much haki as in quantity or quality. Because again Hody

No because Luffy was not susceptible to Rebecca's blunt strike at all.
Luffy's gear fourth was susceptible to Cracker's strike specifically while Doflamingo's attacks couldn't even pierce luffy once which is the undeniable fact in both fight. Comparing any lower version of luffy in terms of haki quality is just stupid.
So just stop with your fanboy shit right there Riker.
If you turn on a faucet and just leave the water running without using it for anything, you're wasting too much water(quantity) but the quality of the water remains the same as if you turned it on and then turned it right off.
Busoshoku Haki can work the same way. By sustaining his Haki, he uses up more of it in a quantitative manner. The fact that Law said "too much" is an explicit indicator of quantity. Throughout the fight, Doflamingo kept making multiple comments on how Luffy's body and Haki worked while he was in Gear 4th, and not once did he note that his Haki is harder. There's zero evidence that Luffy's Haki got any harder or stronger just because he went Gear Fourth.
No because Luffy was not susceptible to Rebecca's blunt strike at all.
First off, shut the hell up, Luffy said his Haki was vulnerable to cuts because it wasn't strong enough himself. There's no arguing against that whatsoever.
Second off, it's a BLUNT sword. You said it yourself. It's BLUNT. His Haki is vulnerable to sharp things, so why would it be vulnerable to a sword that is THE OPPOSITE OF SHARP?
Luffy's gear fourth was susceptible to Cracker's strike specifically while Doflamingo's attacks couldn't even pierce luffy once which is the undeniable fact in both fight
Except Doflamingo was able to cut into Luffy's body.
Also, if Doflamingo couldn't cut into Luffy's body, that means Luffy spent 20 minutes doing nothing but dodging attacks, when he could have ended the fight 20 minutes earlier by just tanking them and charging right for Doflamingo. Which makes absolutely no sense, but I'm sure that's what you're going to cho0se to believe anyways.

What a horrid assumption doesn't prove the point that G4 haki has never been penetrated by anyone but Cracker. I don't know what other nonsense I'm reading here.

You need to shut the fuck up Riker and stop avoiding my point. You got that boy? Read the fucking post and get your stupid fanboy faucet logic out of this. I don't read childish fanfic scenarios.

I said bunt strike you dullard. I never mention anything on how sharp the tool is. So you better refrain yourself from asking such stupid questions again.

Luffy throwing Doflamingo across dressrosa and avoiding doflamingo for 20 minutes when the fight against doffy didn't even pass 15 minutes are two completely different things.
Only you would be idiotic enough to say that there isn't a difference between G4 luffy and lower forms of luffy just to get your favorite character to look good.
Especially when you are implying that someone like Hody would be able to pierce even G4 luffy's haki as equally as haki luffy in base form. Just shut the fuck up Riker, I'm done with your crap.

Literally says here that his Haki isn't good enough to withstand sharp attacks yet.

No fanfiction, just words from Luffy's mouth about his own Haki with on-panel evidence of his words being true.

The fight against Doflamingo was almost an hour long. Luffy and Doflamingo's 1 vs 1 lasted for at least 20 minutes.

The manga facts are all there. Luffy spent 20 minutes avoiding the Awakened strings. Given the fact that Luffy says he has to hurry up in this panel, which is before the Awakened strings come out, we know for a fact that if Luffy could have tanked the strings and wouldn't have been hurt by them, he would have just charged through and tanked them to finish off Doflamingo ASAP.

Tfw Luffy is tied with Law for my favorite character.
Tfw you have provided exactly zero panels showing Luffy's Hak is harder.
Especially when you are implying that someone like Hody would be able to pierce even G4 luffy's haki as equally as haki luffy in base form. Just shut the fuck up Riker, I'm done with your crap.
I never said Hody would be able to pierce Luffy's Gear 4th Haki. I said that Luffy's Haki on its own is susceptible to being sliced and pierced, as Luffy himself stated. The reason he was able to withstand Doflamingo's Athlete was because his G4 body has exceptionally higher elasticity, allowing to push Doflamingo's kick back. Nothing but facts from the mang.

blunt
blənt/Submit
adjective
1.
(of a knife, pencil, etc.) having a worn-down edge or point; not sharp.
Rebecca's sword doesn't have a sharp edge, so it can't cut anything. This was stated during the Colosseum.
Manga scan above says otherwise.

What's up Riker, do you think based off this chapter Cracker is > Doflamingo or do you feel like DD is stronger. I'm not saying this to get on your nerves or anything its just I'm always wondering what your opinion on things are.

After thinking about it for a while I feel as though Cracker not liking pain may actually be very important. I feel as though if his weakness is very exploitable DD can win.
I think they may actually be equal in a very weird way, but I can't explain why I feel this way.
