Yet, he went down like a fodder. He's more of a puppet than Pain, since he didn't even know he was being played until the very end.

Pain, on the other hand, knew Tobi was behind everything and respected that, they were working towards a common goal which he was willing to give his life to even though Tobi was the boss. Plus, he went down fighting, unlike Wankdara over here.

Nagato didn't know a thing about the plan. In the end he was going to die, and for what purpose? In order to bring Madara back to life. Of course, Pain did give off a godly presense, but Madara had far more "badass" moments than him.

Don't try to justify Madara's ultimate fail with an "it was all because of plot".

Same as Pain here. He can kill Naruto easily without need to used CT but Naruto is the plot that control Pain ultimate action.

Most of overpowered villain have an easiest/open chance to kill Naruto. Sure BZ is not Naruto but his situation there not permit him to fight back. He paralyzed.

This thread is highly subjective. There is no biggest badass in the series. People say say Pein, others say Itachi, others say Sasuke and others will say Naruto. So your opinion doesn't speak for the rest of us, only for yourself. :lol

The only great moments I remember Pain having is destroying the Leaf Village, pinning Naruto, and trapping Naruto in Planetary Devastation? Madara has more in just his undead form than that.

To be honest I always thought Ashura would have chosen Yhiko, they're ideals are like Siamese twins.

Madara also went out in glorious fashion after completing IT. He been taken out not by Naruto and Sasuke but by unexpected person. Unlike Pain, he know who is his opponent for most of the time but couldnt finish him.
