Yo, I'm Howard. Are we doing this the RP way with our main bio or just naturally?
Hey everyone, the name is Moofy^
--
It will be very awkard for my Luffy bio to learn RP style haha xd he is not a scholar!
And, we are just going to do it naturally. It's easier and quicker that way.Uh, hello. o__o
Chakra is the energy source for the Narutoverse, like Ki with Dragon Ball Z or Nen from HunterXHunter. It serves the same purpose storywise as any other energy source found in most anime/manga. It's used to create offensive. or defensive techniques to better the chances of actually coming out the victor in a fight. In simplest terms it's basically the life force of every character in Naruto including the random non-shinobi characters when they run out they die, and it's what we base our bios on. Chakra works by combining physical energy, the energy produced by the body and spiritual energy the energy produced by the mind. When put together it creates a way to augment the body, create physical and intangible techniques all from mere energy. And, we are just going to do it naturally. It's easier and quicker that way.
Good, we are all here. So let's start with the first thing which is Iryō-nin, I'm all sure you've read the handbook, what I need to guys to do is to write up a small text where you'll explain what chakra is, how it works and how the human body relates to chakra in narutoverse.
Looking at you Howard, and Scaze, no damn wallies, please. :|
Chakra in simplest of terms, is life energy as well as a source of power that can be manipulated to achieve above normal feats. Just like our blood, chakra also has a circulatory system all throughout our body. The heart equivalent of our chakra circulatory is located in our abdominal area. That is where the pool of chakra is stored, thereafter spreading throughout the circulatory system to be released through our tenkesu if manipulated so.And, we are just going to do it naturally. It's easier and quicker that way.

When one's chakra is affected, the body naturally responds accordingly. For example; When one's chakra is being absorbed, the user will feel physically drained and exhausted as essentially their life force is being sapped away. If it reaches 0, the user will die as Kakashi pointed out in the past. In very simply terms, the less you have, the weaker you are in the narutoverse. This of course also depends on the user and how he wields what he has, but that's another story. The opposite is also true when the user is overfilled with chakra, feeling more powerful and alive. Though like anything else, too much of something is bad and thus naturally, the chakra circulatory system has limiters that are like gates, controlling the flow of chakra that goes through the body as to not damage it with overflow. There are ways to open the limiters but that is a whole different subject of itself.
Lastly, Chakra is used as the fuel for all ninja techniques besides Taijutsu (Although some include it.) Shinobi learn to manipulate their inner chakra to then release it outwards through their chakra points and manipulate it, either raw in nature or shape manipulate it into a different element to reach desired results. This is done by manipulating the chakra in a way that mimics the elemental chakra you are trying to copy. (Vibrating for lightning, etc etc)
GOod, you all understand the basics, and even more so. S/O to Scaze for going back to his roots. :|Chakra is a form of energy that is vital to the well being of an individual, to lose all of ones chakra is to die. Chakra is comprised of a combination of spiritual - produced by the mind and soul, and physical - produced by the bodies cells, energy. Chakra naturally circulates throughout a persons body through 'chakra pathways' which are rather similar to the cardiovascular system. These pathways, just like bloodvessels, feed into every part of the body and follows a natural flow. Along the chakra pathway system lies 361 nodes which act as valves, that both maintain the flow of chakra and allow for its release into the outside world. Releasing chakra from these nodes is vital to the performance o most Ninjutsu - which is essentially the use of chakra to create events such as physical phenomena - ranging from the creation of elements to the manipulation of primal forces such as gravity.
The chakra system naturally regulates itself - and thus achieves its own form of homeostasis. However, just like the physical body, the chakra system can be subject to disruption from outside forces and as a result have its equilibirium disrupted. Examples of this is Gentle Fist, the damage that EIG wreaks on the body, poisons that target the chakra system or inhibit the use of chakra.
Diagnosis is one of the if not the strongest pillar to the foundation of medical ninjutsu. It is where the medical student first learns to manipulate his own chakra and insert it into the patient without harming him. The user will run their hands across the patient's body and insert his chakra allowing him to sense any irregularities inside. With time and experience, the process gets faster and easier to the point where a medical ninja can even find out cause of death and roughly how long it happened. There are other abilities that aid the med-nin in diagnosing for example; The Sharingan, that allows one to see the chakra flow. The Byakugan which also allows you to see the chakra flow but also minuscule x-ray details in the body. Chakra Sensing can also aid in the process of diagnosis along with other things that are mentioned in the guidebook.GOod, you all understand the basics, and even more so. Diagnosis is the skill in which a Medical Nin will place chakra into the person they're going to heal to ascertain information about their body, and the severity of any ailments. Before they're able to actually heal what's wrong with the person they have to understand what ails them and exactly how much chakra to use for said healing. Just using a healing technique without knowing where to direct the energy or what to heal or even how much force and focus to put into healing could end up causing more harm then good. They do this by inserting chakra into the person to be healed, circulating it around their body and then returning it to their own body. This gathers information about the person who needs to be healed, things like Blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, any broken bones, torn muscles, glucose levels, external wounds as well as mental instabilities like trauma caused by genjutsu, psychosis, bipolar disorder and varying other metal abnormalities. This allows the user of Diagnosis to learn things that they cannot see with the naked eye as well as the severity of external wounds that they can see and their composition.GOod, you all understand the basics, and even more so. Depending on the skill level of the user it may take varying amounts of time to accomplish. Users like me, will need several minutes to gather all the information necessary to make an accurate assessment whereas someone who has completed Medical Ninjutsu like you would only need seconds. If direct contact is made, the process can be quickened and at a lower level physical contact is nearly always required but as you gain skill with medical ninjutsu only being in close proximity of the person being diagnosed is required. Users with heightened senses or chakra sensing will find it easier to perform diagnosis.
Question though, my Valentine bio has passive life force sensing. Would that help at all with this process?

No problem at all, better for you to answer it anyway. If you allow me the small tangent, Nathan-sensei.
Yes, it will help you to determine IF something is wrong with someone. Basically, with that you can determine how sick (as in, how close to dieing) someone is, if he is or not sick, if he's getting better. You can't, however, determine the nature of the illness or anything of the sort.
Imagine Life Force as electrical energy powering a light bulb. Your eyes allow you to see if the buld is shining bright or dimmly so but you can't know the reason for that just based on that alone.
No, I meant this must feel like Déjà vu, that's what I meant. Okay, so that was all good. Well done all three of you, so now it is time to learn how to perform diagnosis, so what I want you all to try is try and gather up some chakra and focusing that chakra in your core and then move your chakra around your bodies. I'm going to need you to be as detailed as you possibly can.It wasn't anywhere close to being a wall...
Diagnosis is basically a perquisite to administering medical treatment - you need to know exactly what the problem is to treat it.
It's performed by a shinboi channeling their chakra into their hands, out of the tenketsu based in their hands, and into the desired patient. The chakra then basically performs recon, searching through the patients body and reporting back with the necessary information. Basically your chakra acts as a replacement for medical tools such as stethoscopes, Sat machines, hands, blood tests and etc, in identify the problem and perhaps even the cause.
Naturally, skill level which increase the effectiveness of your diagnosis (speed, not requiring direct contact, more indepth information), and diagnosis can also be performed on oneself.
If that's not concise then idk what is.
Aware of the energy around me, that of the cosmos and nature. Of the insects beneath me, the fowl above, my very own body; and the ebb and flow of the chakra laced into my flesh - the energy estuaries of my very own body. Aware of all this, I had no doubt that the task before me would be accomplished easily. Focusing on my network, I would manipulate the ebb to amass chakra at my nucleus, drawing it into a centre of power, and then releasing it with the flow - guiding the flow so that it circulates throughout every region of my body, every nook and cranny, and every cell, thus fully exploring my chakra pathway system. Then the ebb, and again I would draw chakra into my core, synching my breathing - deep and slow, with the manipulation of my chakra. And so the cycle would continue for a short time until, satisfied, I would this time channel the flow towards my hands. Focusing it there, I would purposefully release small amounts of chakra into the atmosphere from my tenketsu, knowing that, should I so wish, I could release more. All of this would be controlled, it was my body, subject to my will, and a tool to further my own means, a tool that needed to be honed, and one with cravings, but a tool nonetheless. No problem at all, better for you to answer it anyway.

Applying all the information and knowledge I have gathered throughout the years regarding the chakra system, I close my eyes and enter a semi-meditative state. I channel all of my chakra throughout my chakra network and into my solar plexus, amassing it. Then ever so slowly, I begin to release it cautiously throughout my body. As I do so, I think back on the aggressive nature chakra takes when being shape manipulated into attacks and thus, do the complete opposite, attempting to sooth out my chakra throughout my circulatory system/network. Once the chakra is fully spread out through my body, I begin focuses slightly more on my hands, bringing chakra towards it, focusing enough to the point where it is almost visible to the eye. I attempt to calm the storm of chakra from the jagged and spiky nature that it has as it escapes my chakra points, and instead think of water, smoothing out the chakra in a wavy manner, leaving it at ease. Once the chakra is calmed, I practicing pulsating the chakra, at an attempt to release slight waves of it, in a similar manner that I would do in order to insert my chakra into a future patient. No problem at all, better for you to answer it anyway.

*I begin by focusing on the natural flow of chakra around my body and begin to monitor it slowly manipulating it as I would when creating a technique not exactly molding it, but just manipulating and changing the flow ever so slightly. As a few seconds pass and I get the feeling for what I'm doing I begin to gather it into a mass of chakra that rests in and around my chest. As it makes it's way into my chest I then allow it to flow freely throughout the core of my body amassing it and allowing it to move throughout the chakra pathways that sprawl throughout the body flowing through my arms and legs and returning it to my core in an almost cyclic process. After a few moments the process becomes more of an autonomous process not needing as much focus and the flow of chakra is seemingly altered momentarily. I allow the chakra to flow through my upper body and down through my arms amassing in my hands before rebounding and returning to my core. I do this with the thought that I will eventually need to release the chakra from my hands and insert it into another living body before channeling it back through my hands and into my core so that I can gather and retain information about the patient.*

All perfect, and Moofy as for your questions: I believe you could, that would work just fine, and as for your other question yes you can combine your Hydrification and medical like things together.Applying all the information and knowledge I have gathered throughout the years regarding the chakra system, I close my eyes and enter a semi-meditative state. Question: I was reading the Handbook and it stated that mediums could potentially aid the Diagnosis process, things like water. Now my question is; Being a Hozuki, would I be able to enter my hydrification state to perform a more accurate/potentially faster diagnosis? By using my watery state as a medium to insert/scan?
#2: Can Medical Ninjutsu be used while my Hydrification is active? It would be very beneficial to combine, specially for practical usages, like even Poison removal perhaps.
OC: We should be performing diagnosis on your fingers instead of Scaze's arm! Hope you heal fast, I know how painful it is to cut your fingers on powersaws. I sliced a piece of my thumb last year on a tablesaw, leaving the side of my thumb at a 45 degree angle slice. *_*All perfect, and Moofy as for your questions: I believe you could, that would work just fine, and as for your other question yes you can combine your Hydrification and medical like things together.
Okay now, I'm going to injury Scaze, and I want Moofy and Howard to use what they just learnt, and figure out what has happened to him, you won't be able to perform on him, so don't go any further, just use what you've learnt which is not much.
I walk over to Scaze and grab out a kunai and stab Scaze's right brachialis muscle, which is just beneath the biceps brachii. The stab isn't too deep, but causes enough pain for Scaze, and damage could be rather unfix-able if now healed right away.
Sorry for the delayed reply; I've injuries myself at work, cut two of my fingers, rather deep on a band saw, they hinder me, and the pain is annoying, so yeah sorry for the late replies in the future. :|
(Shinkei Pinchi) - Nerve Pinch
Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: This technique deals with targeting the weakest part of the Trapezius muscle which runs from the base of the head to the top of the shoulders above the shoulder blades. The user will concentrate chakra into his fingers strengthening them as he grips the side or base of the neck hard. While doing so he transfers a visible pulse of chakra in the form of a slicing blade from the tips of his fingers into the opponents neck or shoulder blade area. What this accomplishes is severing the upper Trapezius nerve/muscle causing pain, weakness, numbness and paralysis in the upper body, arms, shoulders and spine area. The opponent's arm and shoulder will be limp and numb hard to move and when forcibly moved will cause a deep stinging pain that radiates up the arm and down the back. This has enough power to bring an untrained and unskilled shinobi to heel especially if preformed with both hands upon both sides of the muscle simultaneously.
Notes:
-Pain, weakness, numbness and paralysis in the upper body, arms, shoulders and spine area lasts for two turns
-Can only be used four times per battle
