Because you're not born with EMS and Naruto wasn't born with Kurama(he got inserted into Naruto much later to save the village from wrecking even further and then hopefully Naruto using Kurama's power for good uses).

I read your post fine. Your question is irrelevant. We have said that, to us, they are not birthrights. Saying "But there are people saying that they are," is not an appropriate response because it is the opposite of what we think. It's a stupid question because the only answer that we could give to "But there are people saying the opposite of you" is "We disagree."

You bringing up the opposing viewpoint without the argument is pointless. If a person says "Global warming is real," and you reply with "There are people who think global warming isn't real" after they've made their arguments, what is left to say but "Then I disagree?" What are you expecting us to say to "Some people don't think so," other than "We disagree?"

I said it's a birthright. Never claimed it cannot be counted as a powerup Sasuke didn't work for. Even then, only Sasuke has the innate, genetic potential to even create the new pattern and attain light. So, it's part semi-free powerup, part genetics and part clan culture.

Kurama doesn't fit the bill for any of the aforementioned factors for Naruto bar free powerup.

This was in regards to whether or not EMS was a free handout/power up. Again Riker was saying Kurama was related and which is why I said it isn't that simple since it isn't objectively accepted to what a birthright between Naruto and Sasuke is (pieces of it anyway)

I feel like definitions need to more specific because I could argue that because he was an Uzumaki and was able to contain Kurama without dying was the reason why it could but consider a privilege. Also as an Uzumaki (as established by the superiors), they were given the positioning and duty of being jins for Kurama. Whether that's considered a gift or not is subjective but eh... I digress

Actually no as I haven't said that I fully agree and seeing as how you withdrew you argument, it's not that black and white. I still believe Kurama is a birthright based off the several factors in the manga as well as the dictionary backing the claims
