As expected this spriggan was defeated even easier than the last one. Why were they so hyped tbh
Why is it that some people are never satisfied?

Yes the power levels in FT aren't really perfectly in sync with each other and some of the battles are repetitive, but it remains a fact that most of the Spriggan's have been beaten by strategies and collaboration between different characters. There are 12 Spriggans, so Hiro is really not going to spend 10 chapters on each one of them and they are all individually strong, but that doesn't mean they are unbeatable. There's more to a fight than just having a strong type of magic or a large amount of magic power. The only Spriggan that actually got beaten completely one on one, putting aside Serena, was Whal Icht by Laxus. Jacob's strength largely was centered around the type of magic he used. Lucy used her magic to nullify that and in terms of shear hand-to-hand combat and brute power, it's questionable that Jacob would be exceeding either Natsu or Makarov, let alone both of them at the same time. Hiro never dwells too long on most of his battles, something I personally really don't mind.

IMO

Not perfectly in sync????? lmaoooo their ridiculously out of sync they were hyped to be above/around God Serena level rofl who is supposed to be top in Ishgar if im not mistaken. That went out of the window fast as the are being rekt by FT and friends which make it seem that they are mediocre at best. I would have pretty much ignored this if their tier hype wasn't this high as it would have been pretty much like any other FT arc. Its not really the amount Hiro spent of them the concerns me but the method he taking characters out of play.
Ultear part vs Dimaria was a big stretch for me, Brandish part was just dumb to me, Jacob vs lucy thing was just plot induced stupidity worst one so far. There is no reason if he was trying to win, why he couldn't have instantly teleported them like before.
I dont normally expect that much but this has been lol so far.

And you are a prime example of someone who is complaining merely for the sake of complaining by self-imposing illogical and incorrect expectations to consequently trash them and blame FT and Hiro for it. With other words it's your own fault and yours alone, so instead of acting like child that goes "lmao rofl rekt" all the time, grow up and take responsibility for your own screw-ups. The 12 Spriggans are strong, but not invincible. They are the villains, so they were bound to be beaten and there are 12 of them, so Hiro is really not going to dwell long on every single one of them. Most of this supposed hype also came from Makarov and it has been shown he has been miscalculating the growth in strength of many of his guild members. You also seem to be completely oblivious to the strength several characters obtained during the course of the series. And as said a battle is not just a straightforward clash of shear power, so yeah all the 12 Spriggans belong into the same category, but that doesn't mean that they are all the same. A lot of things depend on how they fight individually and against whom. Laxus already showed in Alvares he could take on Azir, he beat Jura and was even considered for the position of Wizard Saints, but due to his attitude denied. Add then the fact that they are fighting tag-team matches with the most powerful members of other guilds and you have more or less even matches. It seems you haven't noticed it yet, but almost all the Spriggans so far have fought alone. Nothing went out the window outside your objectivity and integrity as the methods Hiro is using to take them out are by far some of the most logical and reasonable ones he used during the course of the entire series. Normally they just get beaten to a pulp, now they are being outwitted by blocking their strong points and exploiting their weak ones.

Brandish was never beaten in combat, the way she was taken prisoner was a bit of a comedy sketch, but in reality that can even be considered to be not that bad as it shows that she's still just a person with her own faults like having allergies. An example again of your own mistakes as you're implying all villains have to be immortal, unbeatable gods apparently. Dimaria was using an extremely OP magic, so in reality you should be complaining about that, not Ultear as that magic had to be countered somehow and Jacob was completely outwitted. This is as genuine as it can possibly be. His power lies in the type of magic he uses, his spatial magic however was negated by Lucy's cleverness. No gimmicks, no plotarmor as you people like to call it, a simple and efficient strategy. Jacob uses stealth to fight, meaning despite being well-versed in hand-to-hand combat, his overall power output will be limited as that goes against the concept of fighting stealthy. Natsu and Makarov are the complete opposite of it and they used that to their advantage the moment Jacob's magic was undone. This is strategy class 1.1, but still you whine. And almost no character ever goes spamming their attacks around the clock, you don't even know the limits of his magic, it's very well possible he needs to recharge for a few minutes before he can use it as he just transported over a hundred people in a radius of a large building.

What you are doing is whining, then Hiro does the opposite of what you whined about and then you whine again by saying something different. That's the definition of being a hypocrite. If you would actually follow the logic someone like you is applying, the main characters of every series would die instantly and that sounds really great to read, huh.

Other then Laxus and Acno no one has yet defeated a spriggan member one on one. The other 4 were taken out by multiple joint effort.

Ajeel - Erza / Bisca / Lucy
Brandish - Hay Fever/ Cana / Lucy
Jacob - Lucy / Natsu / Makarov
D Maria - Wendy / Carla / Cheria / Ultear

Not to forget - Bloodman who forced Sabeertooth and some other guilds to reteat. Neinheart yet to come out on fight. But most likely Erza / Kagura and Jellal will take him on. Now lets look at here, u do know just how powerful of a combo those 3 are.vI mean those 3 are the strongest of their indivitual guilds and Jellal was also a member of the 10 saints. So as we u can see their hype wasnt for nothing. Those Spriggans are powerful as Hell. Not to say only the stongest among the spiggans only remains now.

hmmm....I am not reading FT or any-other manga since last month. So Jacob infiltrated the guild and got defeated I see. I read this chapter tho!. Liked it even though I don't understand much of what happening.

People who are complaining that Fairy Tail fights are very short.....This isn't first time fights are ending in 2/3 chapters. It's been always like this since the start of the manga. Only a very few are exceptions. Mashima always keeps his fights short. One of the reason why FT is popular in Japanese fandom is because of it's short fights. There are even fights in FT manga which lasted for 14-15 pages alone rather than a complete single chapter. Only the main antagonist of each arc gets a bigger fight-chapter-wise. And moreover length of the fight=Good Fight?!.

Something I wanna share........an old tweet(7 days ago) of Mashima's,

Mashima Hiro said:

Translation - Thank You for your comments on this week's issue. This is not related but someone(fan) from the previous fan-meeting asked me, "Would this particular character reappear in the manga again?". I said no. But maybe this character might makes an reappearance soon. When that happens I wanna apologize for it.

That was asked by a fan in previous fan-meeting. If I remember....the last two fan-meetings were 'Dragon King Festival II' and Nico-video-live broadcast. As for second meeting, I remember someone asked about Gildarts but not sure about it.

Since Mashima used the word "reappearance" maybe he is talking about Mystogan or Jose perhaps?!.

Sensei posted that tweet on 23rd of this month. Yeah I knew Ultear is back into the manga. I haven't read after that. I think that is a month ago. But Mashima's tweet is one week ago. So I think he was talking about another character.

Mystogan and Jose are my best bets if not considering Gildarts Clive!

I want this to happen.

I hope so!. It's been so long since he is gone. I like his magic. Interesting Magic. If Mystogan comes back then I think he is going to appear at wherever Panther Lily is for obvious reasons.

hahahha...that would be funny. Bye-bye

IMO i'm going to bold it this time so you can see it and ill keep this short as possible

It seem like you took my opinion personally and it hurt you somehow so ill ignore the first part as well as the personal attacks to keep this as concise as possible. I never said the the 12 Spriggans were invincible I said they where hyped to be at a certain level which I think makes them look pathetic after being beaten/ outsmarted in the ways that they were. Basically I'm saying they aren't worthy of the hype there were given so far. I understand
"12 Spriggans belong into the same category, but that doesn't mean that they are all the same." I'm only saying they are on the same level they obviously aren't the same. "A lot of things depend on how they fight individually and against whom." Ill re say this my issue isn't with how long Hiro is spending on each fight but more the quality I only had a problem with the 3 instances in my first post. The other fights were fine by FT standards "Nothing went out the window outside your objectivity and integrity as the methods Hiro is using to take them out are by far some of the most logical and reasonable ones he used during the course of the entire series." There was nothing logical to me about Ultear coming back. To me Branish and Jacob were taken out in borderline idiotic ways.

Ultear was clearly the issue because this is how Dimaria who was using an extremely 'OP magic' was hard countered. It just made no sense as if she was just thrown back into the story so to progress the plot. With brandish her subplot seem like a way just to take her out of play to me which was why I found it dumb. " And almost no character ever goes spamming their attacks around the clock, you don't even know the limits of his magic, it's very well possible he needs to recharge for a few minutes before he can use it as he just transported over a hundred people in a radius of a large building."
Jacob wise was pretty bad too as his abilities weren't expanded on. Transport was done first effortlessly for him the first time. And there was no hint to a cool-down or how much power it needs which is why it seems like momantay PIS that he couldnt do it again.

"What you are doing is whining, then Hiro does the opposite of what you whined about and then you whine again by saying something different. That's the definition of being a hypocrite. If you would actually follow the logic someone like you is applying, the main characters of every series would die instantly and that sounds really great to read, huh."

Imagine stanning FT
Nice presumptions you make it seem as if I do this every chapter. Criticism is whining now kk gotcha. When someone points out a flaw it doesn't mean they are whining btw. Your bias is plain and obvious as a simple opinion seems to bother you.
