i don't think so....cauz when you have mangekyou in both of your eyes then the third power that is SUSANO activate.........so how is it possible that naruto would use it without having a single sharingan.......!!!!

I very much like this theory, it would make sence since itatchi used the other to treasures (Totsuka and Tata) during his fight with sasuke, and he himself could not use this jewel of yasakani since his hart is not pure, he has the massacre of the uchiha clan on his hands.

on the other hand since the moment that the manga came out where itatchi encounterd naruto and gave him this "gift" I thought it might be some sort of defence against genjutsu. but now that you brought this up I think I'm going to abbandon my first thought. I wonder though if naruto is aware of what that gift was or if it's something that will activate automaticaly when a certain condition is met during his fight with sasuke

Thanks bro!, if that is the case then i guess it could be something like for example, on the sight of sasukes MS itachis gift will get activated could be anything, can give a few possibilities

1-itachi had a final jutsu which he did not tell sasuke of, he gave it to naruto!!

2-itachis gift is a way to get kisame itachis loyal partner to help naruto on his quest!!

3-perhaps a genjutsu to show sasuke what really happened on the day of the massacre of the uchiha clan!!

4-could be the sword of crow a special sword in the japanese mythology i think it was!!

5-perhaps a way to truly be able to control the kyuubi

6-or something to prevent kyuubi of being extracted if ever tobi captured naruto, or something to prevent naruto from dying if ever kyuubi was extracted!!

7-or perhaps the staff of the sage of the six paths since naruto is also a sage!!, sasuke has a sword, naruto needs a staff!! lol


i dont think its something to prevent genjutsu, because naruto doesnt need it since he is a jinchuuriki, and now that he can control the kyuubi, genjutsu wont work on him! he even overcame nagatos powerful genjutsu when he went in "SageKyuu Mode" in his fight with him!!

The name of the thread may be different, but Itachi's power has been discussed a lot in some threads. In this thread, we've to confine to whether Susano or not, that's it

my second thought: Itachi said that "i hope you wont have to use it or smth like that" so maybe it is posible, when ever Sasuke uses MS, EMS on Naruto his eyes deactivate, he knew that Sasuke will take Itachis eyes, so i bet it wasnt a problem to him to do the trick, why else did he place smth inside Naruto? a part of Itachi so hes own attacks would recognise him as himself and not harm? Susanoo not to attack him?

itachis gift is most likely the jewel of yasakani, the third jewel after the sword of totsuka and the mirror of yata

the jewel of yasakani enlightens a persons soul but it olso has a risk, and it can only be used by a person with a pure soul like naruto, naruto will use the jewel of yasakani to bring back the light to sasukes soul!!

I posted a big theory about it and olso about the whole japanese mythology around a year ago, but it got deleted due to site issues, anyway, my point is, since kishi has a habit of using materials in the japanese mythology, its quite possible that itachis gift is the third great treasure of the japanese mythology!!

No soul, it's a safety measure Ithaci said That He hope Naruto would never have to use it, that can imply that it will only work on the condition that Sasuke try to kill Naruto or destroy the village. This is only for Sasuke alone no one else.
