I don't need to try. My side is backed by multiple sources, your side is backed by speculation. Simple as that
Like the exagerrated DB that has been disproven and proven to be unreliable? Nice source
Let me spell it out for you because it's really not hard to understand at all
The flames were on Obito -----> Obito cannot phase through attacks is already on him
Konan placed tags on Obito ----> He could not warp he had to slip through them
Obito warps parts of his body to Kamui ----> Whatever is on him will remain on him even in Kamuiland as shown when he was fighting with both Naruto and Kakashi and going intangible appearing in both dimensions when all he did was place the parts that were intangible in the Kamui Dimension
Obito has no way to put out the flames so if you were correct then either
a. Despite using Kamui, the flames should have remained in the spots they were burning in no matter the dimension
b. Obito has the ability to not only remove Amateratsu but phase parts of his body to Kamui and discard certain things on different parts of his body that are already on him before warping there
There's no reason to discuss this any further. It's been beaten into the ground. This thread might as well be spam at this point.
You're right it has and the fact of the matter is you cannot prove hype in a debate. Yata is near featless compared to its hype
Everything written in the Databook isn't an exaggerated claim. Majority seem to thing that any material coming from the Databook must be validated to be proven true while completely overlooking the fact that it is reference point for information concerning the Naruto Manga. Trying to compare hyperbole's made on Temari to what is written about Yata is the typical strawman fallacy giving the impression of refuting Necromancers argument, while actually refuting an argument that was not advanced by him. The Manga supports the Databook's claim's on Yata-no-Kagami and gives a description of how the shield works. It would negate Jinton for the simple fact that it would alter it's properties in accordance with the attack therefore rendering it useless. That is the function of the spiritual Shield. As for Omnyoudon: If Yata-no-Kagami can alter it's properties to rival it then it will negate it. Lastly, the burden of proof to prove that Yata isn't capable of such feats are upon those stating that it incapable of doing so since regarding the OP's question: The information regarding the shield isn't flawed in any reasonable, logical standpoint or by the Manga. A case where it is flawed would be if one was to claim the hyperbole that the shield could withstand any attack to be fact as that would be applying the No limits fallacy to the shield to say that it could withstand an infinite amount of pressure from any substance-force.
So by your logic, if a source that has been disproved on multiple occasions then the credibility of such source is still valid even if there is no evidence, facts nor support backing the conjecture of said claim? I will be sure to source fox news in General Discussion debates
Just because Yata alter and withstood fodder like and physical attacks does not make it live up to its hype when it's featless against elemental jutsu
