We all know he gave him something to counter Sasuke. It seems right now the Uchiha's main defensive and offensive weapon is Susanoo. Do you guys think Itachi gave him something to counter this? Curious to hear what you think

totaly possible since Itachi alredy proved that his traps work after death
proven> Sasukes MS vs. madara when he showed his face
my first thought: Sasukes and Narotos eyes meet: and Sasuke sees Itachi, like Naruto saw Minato and Kushina
my second thought: Itachi said that "i hope you wont have to use it or smth like that" so maybe it is posible, when ever Sasuke uses MS, EMS on Naruto his eyes deactivate, he knew that Sasuke will take Itachis eyes, so i bet it wasnt a problem to him to do the trick, why else did he place smth inside Naruto? a part of Itachi so hes own attacks would recognise him as himself and not harm? Susanoo not to attack him?
would be extreamly funny, and the final battle between Sasuke and Naruto will be abit difrent, Naruto vs. Madara vs. 10 tails or w/e is left (red - not sure)

i agree the first one that maybe sasuke,itachi and naruto will have a conversation in there minds like (minato talking to naruto and Kushina)my 2 guesses...:|

No its not susanoo. im pretty sure itachi stated to naurto i hope u dunt have to use this. only one logic thing here when naruto fainted got up then met sasuke he said both of us r gonna die meaning that if this battle gets out of hand maybe its something that kills sasuke and naruto+kyuubi i mean itachi stated he didnt want naruto to use it or atleast u doesnt want naruto and sasuke to battle cause he knows what the outcome will be and what madaras plans are so its not any counter attack or any powerup i think it will be a last resort type of thing for naruto if things get out of hand
nice man...nice 2nd theory..makes sence...but i dont think it would be asth so his own attack from EMS of sasuke dont harm naruto...i think its the same tech tht madara used to supress amataretsu flames when he showed his eye to sasuke,or even a sealing tech or sth that the sealing tech that his ussano uses not to harm him and sth like this...

Isnt Susano'o one of three relics including the Sword of Kusanagi? Although the Sharingan can "activate" it, does it necessarily have to be a Sharingan user? I mean the Kusanagi (sword) was wielded by Orochimaru..

Itachi used Susanno after he gave the gift to naruto, so if he gave susanno to naruto, then how did he use it in his fight with sasuke which occurred afterwards?, unless he placed somekind of reverse summoning jutsu for the susanno inside naruto, i dont think its much possible!! but it is not impossible ofcourse!

the jewel of yasakani enlightens a persons soul but it olso has a risk, and it can only be used by a person with a pure soul like naruto, naruto will use the jewel of yasakani to bring back the light to sasukes soul!!
i posted a big theory about it and olso about the whole japanese mythology around a year ago, but it got deleted due to site issues, anyway, my point is, since kishi has a habit of using materials in the japanese mythology, its quite possible that itachis gift is the third great treasure of the japanese mythology!!

I very much like this theory, it would make sence since itatchi used the other to treasures (Totsuka and Tata) during his fight with sasuke, and he himself could not use this jewel of yasakani since his hart is not pure, he has the massacre of the uchiha clan on his hands.
on the other hand since the moment that the manga came out where itatchi encounterd naruto and gave him this "gift" I thought it might be some sort of defence against genjutsu. but now that you brought this up I think I'm going to abbandon my first thought. I wonder though if naruto is aware of what that gift was or if it's something that will activate automaticaly when a certain condition is met during his fight with sasuke
