I dont see how its crap since OP is the only anime I still watch.
Ive went from anime to manga with all other animes Ive know so far except OP because its badass to see them "live".
Ive watched/read : Naruto,FMA,Hajime no Ippo,HxH,Yuyu Hakusho,Bleach,One Punch Man and a couple more I just cant remembee right now....
So sayin its crap is way overboard in my opinion.

It's not so bad.Thing about HxH is...it's not ongoing and of course they had more time to get better animation.One Piece as it is is not bad at all.The older episodes were better no question about it but new ones aren't so bad how people thought that is.

I don't.If it's slow I can enjoy more of it.Naruto was "fast" and look how shitty the ending is.Besides Oda is a far better Mangaka and he is doing a bloody good job by keeping fans occupied by it.

Only thing I am afraid of that something don't happen to Oda before finishing this masterpiece.One Piece as it is will never be taken from throne.I'm sure of it 100%.

I agree that Toei took a dump on it with the new animation style for several years back, the old style was more expressive, more adventurous. But I've been watching One Piece since I was 10, (I'm 26 now) and it grew on me too much.

It's not the manga pacing I'm talking about, it's the anime pacing which is as slow as a snail

Naruto is the greatest shounen manga. Katekyo Hitman Reborn! is the greatest shounen anime. Just look at my awesome sig.

It's good but nowhere near the best. It's pacing and animation is indeed top notch. But storywise it's honestly lacking seriously. Yea u have different arcs that each has an objective to fullfill but on the grandscale the main plot is too underwhelming.
The world of HxH also feels so small, it just can't compare to the worldbuilding in One Piece or Naruto of FmaB.
Themed wise it also is nothing to brag about, compare it to op which has a washinglist of it, like slavery, child abuse, drugs, territorial desputes, gambling, genocide. Good animation and top pacing is not good enough to even stand a candle against a lot of other shounen.
I'm still wondering why it gets so much praise. I hope someone can enlighten me on it one day.

Lol I didn't mean it was bigger in the literal sense. I don't care about how big it geographically is tbh, it means nothing. It's how well it's played out. Look at op. U have winter Islands, Desert Island, Prehistoric Island, Sky Islands, Underwater Islands, A Mangrove Island, An Island on the back of an animal. And most even have a history behind it. And a lot of these places have their own architecture to boost and their own culture. How the hell can HxH even compare the the vastness of One Piece?
