Yeah and? They did have an advantage. I don't think anyone is denying that. It's rare to say that, "I can't wait till this chapter gets animated" with OP, however with HxH 2011, I was always pleased with how they adapted the manga.

We're not just considering the contents of the series but also animation/pacing. It is an anime ofc so it doesn't matter how good the storytelling is, if it doesn't have good pacing it's boring. I seriously might as well reread the manga if it's taking like 15 mins to adapt a single chapter or less. That's just bad.

It doesn't, OP does have better world building. I was just pointing out that the HxH world is bigger since you said it feels small. You mean that it has more diversity.

It's good but nowhere near the best. Shounen is filled with friendship power all over the places so they're all the same when it comes to that. Even though they aim for different plot and time, they will end in the same line.

OP is filled with pirates.
Naruto is filled with ninjas.
HxH is a mix of Dragon ball (kid) and Naruto. Not too overpowered techniques/moves (DBZ/Naruto Part 1) and great characters (DB).

HxH is amazing and is open to a lot of possibilities (if you forget the fact it's forever on Hiatus).

I can never pick one for my favourite things but it's definitely one of the best typical Shonen.

Its really good but Kenichi mightiest desciple needs love and support. One of my fav animes and battle manga they should make season 2.Best anime of all time is DBZ easily

I don't even get why people who only watched one of the listed anime comment here.

Anyways, for anime I'd say HxH 2011 is definitely one of the best Shounen, tied with OP (manga).

DBZ is fun to watch but honestly is 4/10 in writing quality. The plethora of plot holes, cliches, character undevelopment is off the charts. Fun to watch, but in no way good writing
