Unless there's an extended version of this scene in the manga, the only panel that page I've seen is from ch 599...I didn't really see a your welcome look...just an exasperated sigh. Kakashi could have seen Rin get the papers but that does not mean he was part of it. I doubt he'd ever consider doing something like that. Everyone could have seen Rin get the papers. It doesn't mean it was their idea or the teacher's idea.

As I've mentioned before I need to see her doing nice things for people besides her love interest to believe she's the nicest. She is nice, not the NICEST. As I've repeated many times already.
They became friends eventually...but they weren't instantly nice to each other. You can get closer over time but being on a team is not the reason Rin acted so nice to Obito. She was nice to him even before they were on the same team. You see that in the panel I posted above.
It's not just the act itself but the way Rin did it and the context of the scene. She's shown taking care of him a lot. It's not just a quick bandage job but a kind act from a friend.
Stoop that low? Isn't that a big dramatic? lol Don't act like that's the only reason she's kind. Rin has actually had two instances that I've seen from the manga where she tells them to stop fighting. The first one might fall into the category of not wanting her friends to kill each other. However I put that panel of Rin holding her friends hands as a nice feat because a mean person would not try to help them in that way. She's bonding with both of them and connecting them through her. The way she does it is very kind. See answer below for elaboration on Rin's personality.
It's still Madara's fault for turning Obito into the person he became. Turning completely good after being bad for so long isn't that easy. I never expected Obito to change that easily...But anyway my main point is that Rin has that type of personality to make people happy and help people get along. She is always full of positivity and happiness. So another point I'll add is that she just has a friendly exterior. She has that type of personality that you'd easily gravitate to, a personality that instantly makes you feel better. So her aura that she has also adds to why I see her as the nicest.
I don't really see your point. Kakashi didn't have to die to show that his team was reunited and happy again. Not reunited in a physical way but in a mental, spiritual way. Kakashi had to be Hokage. Obito even told him that he needed to do that. Tell that to Kishi who drew a panel of Rin brining Obito and Kakashi together as kids and then another panel of them as adults coming together with thoughts of Rin on their minds. She had a great influence on their team, bad circumstances aside.
Listen if she had only done one of those nice acts and that alone then yes that would not make her the nicest. But the fact that she has done so many in so little manga panels shows a lot. She's always shown as a nice individual and when she does something nice you can tell she is really genuine about it. Her nice feats divided by her screen time add up, and she tops it off with one of the nicest acts she can do which is sacrifice herself for the sake of the village. I'm not saying one of her acts alone are outstanding but they certainty are special enough to show her kind, happy personality. It's clear she does things like that all the time.
You mean that filler episode?? :th: Seeing as how you're not satisfied with simple nice acts, I'm waiting for you to give me these examples of hype worthy niceness that Hinata does with her friends. So noticing someone is considered a valid example for being really nice but Rin taking care of Obito (a person who is not her love interest), keeping an eye out for him and supporting his dream isn't? That's the part that gets me....It's short because that's all want to say. I've said my main points already. But since you keep misunderstanding me I guess I'll try and make myself more clear. Rin is the nicest to me because she actively does nice things for others. She is always positive and has an inviting personality. What separates Rin from Hinata is the fact that Rin is nice to everyone. Hinata's nice moments on the other hand revolve around Naruto. I can't consider her the nicest when she has not proven that she'd be willing to do the things she did for Naruto for other people. I keep bringing up Shino, Kiba and Sakura because these are supposed to be her main friends. However the bond with these three people is lacking from her end. I'm not saying Shino or Kiba upheld their end but if it were Rin she'd do nice things for them no matter what. We don't see Hinata take any action to deepen the bond that they have. They seem pretty nonexistent to her now that she's with Naruto. So for these reasons Rin is the nicest.
No good examples of her being nice to Shino, KIba and Sakura. You say my examples of Rin being nice are bad yet I don't see Hinata having anything close to Rin's examples with her own friends. You do need a certain amount of strength to do nice things for others. If this thread was about who is the most gentle Hinata would win but it's about who is the nicest. You need to actually do things for other people. Rin has actively done more for her friends. For example although Hinata thought kind thoughts about Naruto when they were kids she never tried to help him or comfort him until she had that opportunity to give him advice. Naruto suffered so much during this childhood. He could have really used Hinata as a friend. I'm don't mean to hate on shy people...I used to be shy as well but Rin has that strength to do good things that takes her over the edge.
Yes Naruto wouldn't have hated her (probably should have chosen my words more carefully. Reject is better)but that's a fear of Hinata's. The pain of rejection. She's afraid to say the wrong thing in fear that it'll come across wrong or that she'll be hated for it. So a lot of her personality, not all, can be seen as her wanting to please for her own sake. This is especially noticeable in Hinata's genin days. Strength does play a part. Rin can be nice without worrying about the consequences while it takes Hinata time to get to that point.
From my perspective I see BS from downplaying. :sdo: I don't know what you want me to say? Debates like this happen all the time.
For Naruto and to save her sister Hanabi. Actually Sakura was the nicest person in The Last. She did so much for Hinata while Hinata has not done anything for her. Hinata even asked Sakura in confusion why Sakura was helping Hinata so much. She didn't understand that that was the type of thing you'd do for a friend. You support them.
