It's not even about safety, but general living conditions. It's poor, it's corrupt you name it.
I understand, but think about this: slavic people around 90s and first years of 2000 came to our country for a new life, work and a decent amount of money. Now they don't. Rather, there are some Italians that move to Eastern Europe (even if not in Serbia anyway) for better life conditions. I've been myself in Ljublijana (Slovenia) in 2008 and found it a beautiful and clean city, with friendly people who didn't feel like poor individuals. Nothing like a Stolipinovo

My city is about 150 km from Stolipinovo and it's nothing like it either. By only visiting a country you won't see the problems, but if you live there long enough you'll realise how bad it is.

Of course, but there are thing that can be seen in just a day of visit. Trust me, try to visit Wien and just then visit Naples, even don't knowing anything about the two cities, you won't have troubles to find which is the poor one
