What? ._. I thought Xavi has more.
He is the most decorated English footballer of all time, and one of the most successful footballers in history, having won a total of 25 trophies, featuring 11 Premier League titles and two Champions League titles.

Xavi has won more trophies (28) than any other Spanish player in history.
I'm talking club level.

I dont like comparing our own players between each other but I really wanted suarez to take place in the ballon D'or top 3 but I cant say that Neymar didnt deserve it either if anything MSN together should have been up there for the top 3, Ronaldo is awesome but he definitely at least for me didnt deserve to be in the top 3 this year.

Goals: Scholes > Xavi > Pirlo
Assists: Xavi > Scholes > Pirlo
Trophies: Xavi > Scholes > Pirlo
Individual Trophies: Xavi > Pirlo > Scholes

All round -- Scholes
Tempo -- Pirlo
Passing -- Xavi

If I would replace midfield legends of the past generation with current players, it will be something like this.

Gerrard/Pogba
Scholes/Tielemans
Pirlo/Marchisio
Iniesta/Halilovic
Xavi/Sergi Roberto
Alonso/Kroos
Kaka/Coutinho
Ronaldinho/Neymar
Giggs/Hazard
Deco/James
Vieira/Toure

Statistically though.. This guy's irreplaceable.

It's not about comparing, it's the fact that Suarez is criminally underrated and his numbers are often overlooked. 2013-2014 season, 12 assist and 31 goals, no penalties and missed the opening 7 games yet no talks about that. This year and the last one he scored goals when it mattered.
Ronaldo scoring tap ins, penatlies and waving his arms around when no one plays him the ball to tap it in on the other hand.

FIFA is truly corrupt.

You do realize these are league stats right? Look at the bottom left of each picture.
Defo made by a manc, the gap in numbers is huge.
Since then he has played 700 matches, scored 82 goals and made more than 180 assists for over 50 players-Wiki.. That's Xavi.

There is no way Scholes assisted 138 goals! That's some Gerrard/Lampard level.

It's fact mate, he made 138 assists in league only.

Your xavi stats are including all european and national appearances.

Hmmm I'm not sure any more.

Is this site really reliable, 283 assists from giggsy is hard to believe.

Haha yea, didn't even see that. That has too be wrong XD.

Giggsy leads the all-time premierleague assist chart - 162. I can't find a decent site that has all the stats recorded though. The premierleague site apparently only started recording the stats since 2000.

Scholes didn't make more assists than Lampard and Gerrard. Though he did scored more goals than Xavi and Pirlo.
Stats aren't the only thing that need to be taken into consideration here. Talent and position in the midfield are also important factors.
