[Predictions] Naruto Manga 499 Discussion and 500 Predictions

Hmm... this really is gonna be just like Madara vs Hashirama. Itachi's eye had better make Sasuke OMGWTFBBQPWNAGE or Naruto will rape him up the eye. Asides, I can't see Sasuke getting any further powerups, there really isn't anything for him to get. So now, Naruto, Sasuke. and Kabuto + 6 dead bodies of doom are the three strongest people in existence at moment, wonder what will happen?

After a chat with my roommate, I'm starting to think that the theory that the Kyuubi which attacked Konoha was Kushina in the Nine-Tails form makes some sense. (ie she became angry/upset, gave in to the fox, went Nine-Tails like Naruto almost did when Hinata was hurt and Kyuubi had some fun, perhaps with Madara's prompting and she was then sealed inside her son along with the fox).

The reasons:
A. Kushina didn't have a huge reason to appear, unlike Minato. She also appeared only after the seal was released. Finally, "Now I can follow Minato" -the seal has been released and she is no longer bound inside Naruto and can now follow Minato into the next world.
B. Minato knew to build a fail-safe into the seal which prevented Naruto from going Nine-tails and reset the seal.
C. Kushina, again unlike Minato, does not seem to know what happened to Naruto in the outside world. Perhaps she is inside the seal, maybe even in a meditative state to strengthen it (explaining why she could not talk to Naruto through the seal like Kyuubi).

I know there are some holes in this, but however tragic and awful it would be, I think it is a plausible theory. I'm very interested to hear the truth in the next chapter.

Uhm, officially in the manga it stated she was born in the Former Whirlpool country. My guess why is because of the 'former' part. Something happened to the country and she was forced to flee.

As far as I remember, that information was revealed in one of the data books and has never actually been stated in the manga - just in the info book, hence the "officially in the manga" clause. I don't remember Whirlpool ever being mentioned outside the data book. If you can find where it was said, please point it out to me.

That would be my guess, too, based on that information, but I would like to know more. What exactly happened to Whirlpool, if indeed that is where she hails from?

i wonder how could naruto win sasuke?cos sasuke can trap naruto in genjustu without a clue, sasuke faster than naruto, sasuke could cast amasterasu on naruto, and most of all sasuke had know jutsu call" susano" it's very powerfull , any attack will reflect back. does naruto could pierce throught " susano" ?it look like sasuke is invincible.

Harishima was Senju, Tsunade, his Grand Daughter is Senju regardless of her current family name. Hirozen is Senju.

After all they already said ... Konaha was founded on 2 clans joining up, the Senjus and Uchihas. Excluding the occasional immigrant, like Kushina, everyone when they trace thier family tree back far enough is ultimately either Uchiha or Senju. Also incase you didn't know, sorry for this spoiler.... Itachi killed every Uchiha except his little brother. Meaning everyone left IS Senju.

How long has it been since SO6 walked on the earth? It's been 100 years since the fight in the 'Valley of the End' at that time the offspring from 2 brothers had time to grow and become the 2 most powerful clans in the world. Plenty of time to diversify.

I don't know if this is correct but I've fancied Kushina's home country that she's a refugee from, if the one Sasori refered to when he said that he conquered a country... but back to her...

Kushina is put into a genjutsu where she gets very angry and goes Kyuubi and releases the seal. Minato senses what's going on from he kunai that Kushina always has on her, but since his space-time jutsu would put him right next to her (inside it's body) it is one of the reasons he didn't jump to her.

He instead jumps to either Kakashi or Hirozen, I'm leaning towards the 3rd and lets him know his plan. He knows she's being controlled so he cannot stop her rampage so he's left with only one option. Since Minato knows extraction comes at the cost of the jinchuriki's life, but also it's healing powers to the one it's sealed within, he devises a plan to save his child.

Kishi may make it so that Naruto's born prematurely while she was in the early phases of going kyuubi, but I prefer something more tragic so this will be my take:

At this time Naruto is still inside Kushina's womb and Minato finally arrives and he starts the extraction process. When her abdomen becomes exposed someone with mad ninja skills gets in, gives her a ninjaryu C-section, snatches Naruto and takes him to his father/sealing area. Since she's going to die anyways, Minato starts taking her life force and chakura and putting her into the seal and to be triggered by the key, then with the Kyuubi's chakura which was in a state of flux and limbo, now having a receptical is absorbed into Naruto. When he gets to the end, since the sealing technique is going to kill him too, he also adds his own life force and chakura to the seal and is kept from falling and having an ignomenious death by his faithful and last living student.

Kyuubi and the big black ball: Catora 101: There are two types of chakura within a normal person, spirit and body, also called Yin and Yang. People are best at preforming Ninjutsu when they are blalanced. If you are of the earth (body), study more and increase Heaven (spirit). If you are of Heaven, run through the fields more and increase in Earth.

The Kyuubi no Yoko also has 2 different types of chakura, body and spirit or Yin and Yang... while the Kyuubi was sealed, they were separate but once Naruto used the key they rejoined. The whole battle was so Naruto could take the Spirit Chakura for himself while leaving the Body intact. Since the Kyuubi didn't have any more Spirit within he had to take it from his body. That's why you see in just a few frames a healthy Fox turns to fur and bones. You don't see that with humans since a person who's spirit is depleted, they pass out.

*Catora was intentional. It's how it was translated in the anime in episode ... (drum roll) 2. The episode Naruto meets Konahamaru. The Heaven & Earth were taken from Iruka's explanation after Team 7 successfully completes the 'Forest of Doom' in the Chuunin exam.

Just looking back at chapter 438, and the 1st hokage's necklace acted the same way to confine naruto in 6 tails form as kushina's chakra did in wrapping down Kyuubi. I definitely think in some way Kushina could control tailed beasts, which is probably why they chose her as a jinchuriki.

Not sure if she is a Senju since she was part of another country ... perhaps she was part of the Senju in another village, would that make sense?

Perhaps another granddaughter of the 1st, like tsunade??

A little long one, but dou to many quotes and Paragraphs

Something came to my mind.

What if Kushina was Jinjuuriki of the 9 tails before she came to Konoha? Maybe she lost controll in the Whirlpool country and hence it was destroid?

Also what if Sasuke now has both eyes?
I mean, he needs Rinnegan to control the statue, and Madara probably needs his eye behind the mask. So maybe he takes one of the EMS eyes for himself and gives the other to Sasuke + a Rinegan eye?
That could have been cool to see

Also, Naruto had the key to the seal, maybe that involves both unlocking it and locking it?
That would explain how he was able to close it again.

Tardiness means lateness...that isn't an issue with the translation as much as your semantics, they mean the same thing, but you're looking deeper than necessary.

The Kyuubi didn't finish the sentence... He was going to say "The sage of six paths something...", and I say this with 100% because in english we have this grammar rule:

John's ball : the ball belongs to John...
but if the name of the person ends with an S, like James... you don't say James's ball. You only say James' ball.

So, the kyuubi was actually saying The Sage of Six Paths's something... Maybe saying the sage's jutsu, or his seal, or chakra... I don't know. But he clearly wasn't saying that Naruto was the Sage of Six Paths himself.

Exactly, peoples needs to take themself more time reading so that they don`t miss important things like that.

Everyone has their preference. Just keep in mind important story stuff ( namely stuff like 5 hokage versus specificly Hokage ) go with binktopia.
Slight problem. This is being translated from japanese, not originally in english. Meaning sage for one thing can't automatically be same thing in another. Sen in senjutsu on it's own is something along the lines of thousand. We had jiraiya in hermit mode ( the word for sage mode is can also mean hermit and a few other things ).

Yeah agreed, as i said, i prefered Sleepyfans, but enjoy both.
And as i said, both has their pros and cons.

Pros: Early, more correct sometimes.
Cons: Sometimes har to get.

Sleepyfans:
Pros: Easier to understand, more orientated.
Cons: Late, some errors from times to time(not sure if it has more than the Kage stuff).

LMAO^ obviously a complete naruto scrub, listen naruto now has mastered the fox therefore dipping into his 9 tails chakara will interfere with sauskes gengutsu therefore breaking it just like the 8 tails did with sauske, also naruto in sage mode he will be much faster than sauske, based on this chapter i honestly don't think sauske will stand a chance, only madara with the 7 other tails will pose a threat.

Yes genjutsu will have zero effect, Bee already has proven that. Naruto in sage mode is a lot faster than Sasuke, in the least Sasuke isn't faster, how would that even be possible?

Amaterasu could do something, but Naruto has got on his side a freaking massive energy ball of the Fox which can annihilate an entire city without problems. Not to mention that Sasuke will have to get a clear view of Naruto, which is quite difficult while Naruto is in Sage Mode. You also need to take into consideration that Amaterasu is a double-edged sword, if he isn't careful he could easily kill himself.

Naruto has the Fox on his side, which can take 2 Rasenshuriken without taking much damage. Seriously that Fox is a lot more threatening than Sussano.

At this point Sasuke and Naruto are more or less balanced. However if there would be someone of the two who's invincible, it would be Naruto with that Fox on his side.

Ok, I have a question. I'm not sure if it has already been asked, but, since Sasuke now has the eternal sharingan he should have the ability to tame the 9 tails, correct? However, now that Naruto has already tamed the Kyuubi's power, will Sasuke even be able to stop the Kyuubi's chakra if it is controlled by the host?
